I relaxed my 4a hair 2 weeks ago after 14 years natural and I haven’t looked back! Best decision ever, especially with the knowledge we now have about hair care!
That's a long time, I've been natural for nearly a decade ( man I'm patient), even I, want to relax my hair, tired of the texture, plus I love the sleek look. Relaxed hair is beautiful and I have natural hair.
Just make sure u apply it correctly. Don't follow what I call: the 'youtube trend'. (which explains y so many big chop 4 times a year lol.. funny but not funny).
I’ve seen someone else relax their hair when it was blown straight. The problem is you can’t tell how much your hair is processing and to me it can overprocess. But you got great bone straight results. 👍🏽
hi, my name is Carmen de Puerto Rico and I love your videos I'm using my son's account and my English is regular. I wish you could do a full process of rollerset ,a new one with your current hair. I'm very grateful to you, hugs and kisses
Hi Carmen! Thank you so much! I can definitely whip up a roller set video. Will be posting soon! in the meantime turn on your post notifications so you can see when I post it! ❤😊
you know how people say you should relax your hair dirty does that mean i can relax my hair which has some gel in it as im not sure if the gel is too much product in my hair
Just never apply right after a wash. I got horrible chemical burns when I did that. I say wait at least a week after washing your hair before applying relaxer and you don’t need to do anything special like adding extra gel!
You might want to do a little research. The first relaxer was invented by Garrett Augustus Morgan, a black man. He discovered it while trying to ease friction on sewing machines and after discovering it and what it did to hair, started selling it to black men and women until eventually selling it to the company that became Dark and Lovely.
@@9melissal I didn't even know that I'm have to look into it.i relaxed my daughter 4c thick hair best decision we made. She loves it that what matters she's 8.👩🏿🦱🙆🏿♀️

*LADIES, Never apply to the roots first. Roots and ends LAST.*. 💛 Peace
You’re not suppose to relax the ends only for virgin hair 💗

I'd honestly wash the gel out and wait another week or 2 before attempting just to be safe.
