Visited the museum last fall. Fantastic is how I would describe it. What a beautiful collection of the history of Beechcraft. I hope to visit again when I'm in the area. Growing up my father owned a 1947 Bonanza and I would like to just pull up a chair and stare at the 47 they have there and reminisce about all the trips we took in ours.
This is at my home airport, KTHA. The museum also hosts a Beech fly in every fall so come back for that. Also, next time you visit, the Jack Daniels Distillery is in the next town over, only about 15 min away from the museum. Also worth a tour. Thanks for visiting Tullahoma and featuring us on your channel.
Went to the museum last year for the ABS maintenance clinic. I had been waiting 32 years to go as I helped Steve Pfister from KSZP on STAGGERWING #1 during its restoration in the early 90's before Steve passed away and his wife donated it to the museum to be finished.
I live in Tullahoma and remember going to that museum on a field trip in elementary school which would have been in the early 70’s. “Big Red” was being displayed in that museum even back then. The Parish family owns that museum and one thing I remember about John Parish Sr. Is that, back in 1971, he flew 2 qts of blood from Nashville to Tullahoma, in his personal Learjet 24, in order to try and save the life of my newborn baby brother who was born with a blood disorder. Unfortunately, my baby brother passed away shortly after but I’ll never forget that selfless act by John Parish Sr to try and help my family. The Parish family was related to the man that started Worth Inc. which made baseballs and also wood and aluminum baseball and softball bats and still do to this very day. I believe John Parish Jr., runs the company now. Good to see that Starship inside as it used to be displayed outside.
your wife and mine would get along. No interest in Aviation. LOL Im gonna check out that museum , I live only about an hour away, and never knew it existed....Tx
Nice video, the only thing better than a Bonanza is 2 Bonanzas. 👌😉

The G17s are amazing. That TravelAir Model R Mystery Ship has a lot of air racing history! Great museum.
Thanks! I’m going to visit next month👨✈️

I will definitely be back and yes I will check out Jack Daniels. Thanks please check out my other videos of the abandoned baron B55 and Cessna 182P.
There even are two grass strips at the airport. Watch out for the jumpers.

You showed no love to any of the King airs. My favorite Beechcraft!
Sorry, I too love the King Airs.
Walked right past the twin engine V-tail without mention.
