Thanks for the update! It looks like close to dead and that after only 2 months 🤔 Infinity wax is telling that it should last 6-12 months and longer. I like the brand but I think Gyeon Can Coat will be better positioned as Synergy Lite. I Had with Can Coat easy 6 months + Thanks for the Update and best Regards Gary 🙋🏻♂️
Yes two month but a fair few thousand miles mate, I didn’t fully machine polish the car only the bonnet. I still think for the price it’s good value for money and maybe someone who doesn’t do the mileage I do 👌I will maybe look at that gyeon can coat I’ve seen that mentioned a lot 👍
@@garywilkostube3435 You're right! should also look at the price and that you didn't polish the car 🙋🏻♂️ For the milage it is not that bad. Did you use a prep before application?
Nope I did decontaminate and claybar some of the car but ran out of time. They do say you can apply on a car that’s not been fully prepped but it’s like most things it’s all in the prep work! I will fully decontaminate and machine polish all the car early spring anyways. Then decide on what to put on it next 🤔
Thanks for the 3 videos on this Gary. I have just started looking into this product today after speaking to a local detailer who suggested it once I mentioned to him that I was thinking of using Gyeon CanCoat. How is it holding up? Do you think it is likely to last anywhere near 1 year and is it still easy to clean?
To be honest mate with the mileage I do and the weather we’ve had I would say no. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great product and cheap and for the average user it’s going to be great 👍 yup I think maintenance with it on is easier and the dirt and grime doesn’t seem to cling as much 👌 for me as a winter protection it does it’s job but to be honest I’m more of a polisher and wax freak so will be using these again once spring is here!
@@garywilkostube3435 Hmm that's interesting. My choices are either going with a local detailer who will come and do a full valet and machine buff then apply this as a ceramic coat on my driveway or visit a local company who will do a full valet (no machine buff) and then I apply CanCoat myself. I am always really limited on time so want a coating that will make washing easier for around a year before I reapply. I will aim to give it a normal wash every 6-8 weeks or so (rinse in between when necessary) and then probably top up with a ceramic detailer spray every other wash. Not sure which option to go for...
I only machine polished my bonnet so if you got the car properly decontaminated and machine polished then maybe it would last a year as they say! I’ve heard cancoat is really good and one of my viewers has recommended it to me 👍
Nice update buddy. It will be interesting to see how well it keeps repelling water

Do a Purifica wash, will probably revive it a lot.

Hi m8 did you use synergy panel prep before applying the coating?
No I didn’t but I decontaminated and machine polished the bonnet and panel wiped that 👍
@@garywilkostube3435 seen a few cars fail on coating with normal panel wipe. It's far longer lasting using their panel prep. It's smells better too.
@@alexgilroy3388 cool maybe I’ll use some of that prior to recoating this winter 👍
I get much more / better / longer than that with autoglym srp followed by their ultra hd wax every 6 months...
Yeah, that hasnt lasted long
