What I always find to be odd is when the room numbers are so...big(?) as if to convey the motel has HUNDREDS of rooms. And aside from the rooms often looking the same, I find it odd that they seem just a bit too tacky. Though I have to admit that I have spent 2 or 3 nights in very badly decorated motel rooms.

One of the vampires that fed on animal blood so they didn't have to hurt humans. Also the angel Samandriel was played by the same actor who played a kid obsessed with bugs several seasons earlier as well. I'm sure there's so many more but those are just two I noticed myself watching the show.

My oldest son was 8 when the show started. We didn't let him watch because we didn't want him getting nightmares. 5 years later he was watching but not a fan. By season 8 he enjoyed it. By season 10 he was watching all the old episodes with his girlfriend. By season 12 he was too busy to watch. Wife and I are still watching and will start back at season 1 episode 1 when the show ends. We have 3 more kids to expose to the "family business".

My personal fave comedy one--but with serious implications--was "Changing Channels." The Japanese game show "Nutcracker" has me rolling every time...along with Sam as KITT in "Knightrider" (for which they used the real music)!
I know, but right now we will have a 15th season, and J2 and Misha haven't shown any signs they want to call it a day. I think they're having way too much fun, and besides, even after all these years, they still pull in resepectable ratings for the CW. They're not all that anxious to kill a proven cash cow. Who knows? Maybe they'll decide to end it after 15 years. Maybe they'll go for what Jensen wants and stick with it till they hit 20. It's pretty much up to the boys, now.
The current season (and really the past few) have not been that good. I am not sure the show has much left in it. They dropped interesting storylines without finishing them and chased bad storylines.

He was inspired by 'The Hero With a Thousand Faces' by Joseph Campbell and in the section that was discussing the Sumerian epic, 'The Epic of Gilgamesh' there was a relief of Gilgamesh's best friend (and many scholars believe was also his lover) Eridu. A demigod that was both man and beast...often depicted with bullhorns. Granted, he had no other purposes for it than for it to be a prop for Dean. The story behind it came later. I still find it fascinating how similar the story between Gilgamesh and Eridu is reflected in Dean's relationship with Sam and Castiel both without the writers even trying.

Even that Gilgamesh commissioned a prostitute to teach Enkidu about the finer details about being human so he’d fit in whenever they were in public. I’m sure I don’t have to point out the correlations there. And yeah, Gilgamesh and Dean have very similar personalities. Both are very “hit first ask questions later” types.
Btw Eridu is the name of the Sumerian version of Eden. It’s the site of the supposed oldest city according to Sumerian texts. Again though, I like where this analysis is going. I think you might be on to something.
Another fun one is in the beginning of season 2 episode "Hollywood Babylon" when Sam and Dean are doing a tour of the studio, the guide mentions "Stars Hallow" from Gilmore Girls (a show Jared started on). As soon as she says "might be able to see own of the shows stars" Sam jumps off the tour and practically runs away.
Great details, one of my fave episodes is the Yellow Fever one as it is absolutely hilarious especially when Dean screams and runs away etc, I laugh every single time I watch it ahahaha, it never gets old 😂😂, I also love the Bad day at Black Tock, Changing Channels, Scoobynatural, The French Mistake, Mystery Spot and many others 😊😊

I knew the hospital was re-used and many actors. Including the brothers were shapeshifters. I caught the picture during the H. H. Holmes episode. He was a more dapper looking fella . The Pea soup reference at the end of an episode featuring Linda Blair didn't squeeze by either. I always get a giggle over the cheap cheesy hotel room decor. Who ever designed them must have had fun. The loud wall paper and my eye was always drawn to the rarely ever seen today ' Partitions ' the classic amber colour glass to the fishing bobs and fish! The shopper must have had fun scouring second hand shops and yard sales for the lamps and furniture! Its always fun to see behind the scenes goodies of any popular program.

Okay, very cool I didn't know any of these except the amulet (like really why is this on the list at all?) which is rare for me on shows haha. I thought the last one was particularly interesting, though not surprising. More interesting that he didn't know they'd used his actual wedding photos so his reaction was genuine haha. That's still one of my favorite episodes though.

Between season 1and season 6, Van's Liquor converted into a bar called wenzels perfect world. Also a song by the happy schnapps combo. This bar is featured twice in season 6. In season 12, the boys drive past a sign for Nick's Bar. Also a bar in Manitowoc Wisconsin. Also in season 12 in the background is a sign for Late's Burgers. Also a real restaurant in Manitowoc Wisconsin. And in season 12, reflected in a window, you can clearly read Retlaw, a hotel in downtown Fond du Lac Wisconsin. And, I'm not sure of the season, but the boys walk out of the calumet county court house. Calumet county is between Manitowoc and Fond du Lac countys.
I noticed the Bunker set was a redress of a vamp nest from season 6. The early seasons were shot with the frequently use of a blue filter. I need to look back and see when they stopped using it.

Another fun one is in the beginning of season 2 episode "Hollywood Babylon" when Sam and Dean are doing a tour of the studio, the guide mentions "Stars Hallow" from Gilmore Girls (a show Jared started on). As soon as she says "might be able to see own of the shows stars" Sam jumps off the tour and practically runs away.
Great details, one of my fave episodes is the Yellow Fever one as it is absolutely hilarious especially when Dean screams and runs away etc, I laugh every single time I watch it ahahaha, it never gets old 😂😂, I also love the Bad day at Black Tock, Changing Channels, Scoobynatural, The French Mistake, Mystery Spot and many others 😊😊

Who ever designed them must have had fun. The loud wall paper and my eye was always drawn to the rarely ever seen today ' Partitions ' the classic amber colour glass to the fishing bobs and fish! The shopper must have had fun scouring second hand shops and yard sales for the lamps and furniture! Its always fun to see behind the scenes goodies of any popular program.

Okay, very cool I didn't know any of these except the amulet (like really why is this on the list at all?) which is rare for me on shows haha. I thought the last one was particularly interesting, though not surprising. More interesting that he didn't know they'd used his actual wedding photos so his reaction was genuine haha. That's still one of my favorite episodes though.

Between season 1and season 6, Van's Liquor converted into a bar called wenzels perfect world. Also a song by the happy schnapps combo. This bar is featured twice in season 6. In season 12, the boys drive past a sign for Nick's Bar. Also a bar in Manitowoc Wisconsin. Also in season 12 in the background is a sign for Late's Burgers. Also a real restaurant in Manitowoc Wisconsin. And in season 12, reflected in a window, you can clearly read Retlaw, a hotel in downtown Fond du Lac Wisconsin. And, I'm not sure of the season, but the boys walk out of the calumet county court house. Calumet county is between Manitowoc and Fond du Lac countys.
