A huge part of that is thanks to the sound designer that mixed this song together. The panning on this song is awesome. Whoever that might be, is a wizard :)
Japan is absolutely producing the best all women bands. As in musicians that play instruments and write and compose their own music. Certainly they are killing it in indie rock, hard rock and metal.

You may already know that Sakika and Mirei are recording new music as "Ika & Rei" with a band name of COX2 (COCO). Their music is different than this, but very good I think.
Musically, Japan has the best all girl bands in the world right now. Nobody else is even close. Edit: By 'musically' I mean to refer to groups who play their own instruments.

at first I heard this song through my laptop's speakers and I couldn't hear the bass, then I plugged in my earphones and heard the bass line, then I googled the original and found out that there is basically no bass line and the girl bassist probably arranged the bass line herself... wow...

I'm officially in love and this is the first time I'm seeing these girls. Was sceptical at first because "Flash" holds special place in my heart and I didn't expect much from a rock cover for some reason, but boy was I wrong! This completely blew me away, their rendition is impeccable and charming in its own way. Makes me wanna dig more into their stuff and get lost and the fact that THE BASSIST (!!!) reminds me of my Nocchi (for an obvious reason) and is an absolute badass doesn't help much. The bassline is a killer, by the way.
Yes, I was confused at first, because Gfriend is my top kpop group, but Perfume is my top Jpop group, and FLASH is one of my favorites! Discovering a new group is fun, I like them all, but especially the drummer - I used to play drums, so I can relate to her energy and moves. :)

ふとオススメに出てきたんだが、こんな完璧な動画が330万再生？少なすぎだろ。いつ爆発してもおかしくないポテンシャルだし、宣伝とオリジナル曲ハマりさえすれば無双するだろこんなん。これだけ実力と知名度が伴ってないのは初めて見たわ。
所属事務所が無名の事務所って時点で芽が出にくいのにレーベルがavexじゃ余計売れないよ。avexってAAAとかガルネクとかが人気あった頃から売れる見込みのあるグループやバンドは激推ししてそうじゃないやつは全くって感じだったし。しかもavexに気に入られたら有名曲や人気曲が少なくたって表に出される。ガルネクがまさにそうだった。そのせいかガルネクは一発屋になってしまった。そういう風に avexじゃなきゃうまく行ってたんだろうなこいつら。 みたいなのが多い。だからきっとこのバンドも移籍してレーベル変わったら今よりは売れてメディアに出る機会も増えるだろうな。

こんな「FLASH」もありだな、と思えました。実にかっこいい。
「FLASH」に比べれば世間的な知名度はやや低い曲ですが、「Pick Me Up」という曲もあわよくばカバーしていただきたいです。
女性的なはかなさを兼ね備えつつもカッコいいという点で、このバンドに合うような気がします。
