+guest Majority of college kids are playing for the love, the passion of the game. Not just a paycheck. Some NFL players still got that passion but the games seem predictable. IMO anyway.
should have had the Nebraska play where the ball was hiked then put on the ground right away by the center.. every one pulls right but the left guard who picks up the ball and runs left... wide open for the score.. even the cameramen lost track of the ball.. happened in the early 80s I think
The Tech Bear If the QB throws it backwards (relative to where the QB is) then the ball hitting the ground is technically a fumble, so it can hit the ground and then he can pick it up.
I'm Irish and I love my country and the greatness that is G.A.A(Gaelic Athletic Association) but if I'm honest I wish I could of grown up playing this sport! I play all the Madden games and watch as many games as I can but their are no teams near where I live!
Georgia Tech's fake field goal at 8:13 is GENIUS!! Changing the lineup last second has the defense in full focus on adjusting last second for the field goal. THAT is brilliant work
Lock Gaming I did not know that! Is it the actual last second adjustment in the line up that is illegal or the 11th man lining up on the far right that is illegal?
Yeaaah go tigers! I loved seeing Tajh Boyd and Deandre Hopkins, Ellington, and Sammy Watkins playing. They were the bomb. But now Watson and our current offense is good too
True, but if you look at the play clock at the stadium on the right side of the scoreboard you'll notice that it went to 00 probably a half second before the ball was snapped. And I too never noticed that it should have been a delay penalty.
it basically goes down like this. A ref is watching the play clock. he sees it hit 00, he then looks towards where the ball is and if the ball hasnt been snapped by then, he calls a penalty. So yes they were delayed but this is the way this rule is enforced. It'd be nice if there was some sort of "shot clock" like in basketball
+XtremeHeat_13 Look at the game clock in the upper left corner of the screen and you'll see it is not in sync with the on screen clock. Now watching that clock, count down in your head, 3-2-1-0 then whistle. You must give the zero ALMOST a full second to tick down because as soon as the 0 appears there is still 0.99 seconds left. Watch it again and you'll see they clearly get it off in time.
+Christopher ONeil When the clock hits 1 is when there is still 0.99 seconds left. The last second is run off in the time it takes the 1 to turn to a zero. Lets use an example. The college football play clock is 25 seconds once the ball is set. The screen reads "25". 25-24-23-22-21-20-19-18-17-16-15-14-13-12-11-10-09-08-07-06-05-04-03-02-01-00. The dashes represent the seconds that have elapsed. Count them.. 25 dashes= 25 seconds. The way you are trying to say it is, that there is a mysterious 26th second after the clock hits "00".
+XtremeHeat_13 Only clock that matters in that situation is the back judge's. Teams have until his watch hits zero and he blows the whistle. Doesn't matter what the stadium clock or the ESPN clock says. Play was even reviewed after the fact and the correct call was made.
swalte6325 The game clock and play clock operators keep the time. The play clock and game clock are run from the booth upstairs. The play clocks are official. Idk why teams don't trick play more. Especially on punts. Every Sunday I see special teams lay off trying to block the punt and there's wide open field for the punter to run. They should make it an option play if you have an athletic punter.
Mr. Raphael - You must not watch football enough. There are plenty of tricks plays attempted all the time. But, pardon the pun(t), their tricky to implement successfully. The majority of the trick plays fail.

In the NFL specifically, for several reasons: 1) fakes don't always work 2) very few coaches can make unpopular or unorthodox decisions that don't work and expect to keep their jobs for long (even should those decisions be the statistically correct choice), most coaches are coaching to not get fired; it takes a coach like Bill Belichick to know he's a long way away from being fired and can thus run strange plays (which he does, and which he catches crap for when they don't work out, but he doesn't get fired like other coaches would since long experience and success has given him well deserved armor) 3) the players themselves are faster/smarter/better/stronger/savvier/more experienced/etcetera. They have seen a lot. They WILL get fired if they make mistakes, and should they get out of position they have more savvy to recognize their mistake earlier, more speed for making it up, and more experience on how to minimize the negative outcome. It's "almost" like the NFL field is really much smaller, or at least that's one way of thinking of it, because the players are less likely to make a wrong step, have a lot more speed for covering mistakes, and can even jump higher to close passing lanes, etc.

That was such a Kansas City Shuffle that Tennessee pulled -- the safety coming back made it obvious it was gonna be a trick play, they just made a completely different one than expected.
If you think about it, no. 8 was one of the dumbest trick plays. Why did they run it in the Hall of Fame Game? Why didn't they save it for a more crucial part of the season?

deandre hopkins is a beast nice vid
Where's the fake when Seattle through the ball instead of running it in the Super Bowl. That faked everyone
WOW....That Tropaso kid is fast as hell.
why did you need to show that Seattle fake fg, I'm depressed now
That was great. The Steelers one at the against against Seattle in the superbowl wasn't though :c
Saidin Rage That was almost english
The stellers were favored by the rephs in that superbowl. Stellers go away with holding and pi calls LongLiveSeahawks
#superbowl5champions
That was such a Kansas City Shuffle that Tennessee pulled -- the safety coming back made it obvious it was gonna be a trick play, they just made a completely different one than expected.
If you think about it, no. 8 was one of the dumbest trick plays. Why did they run it in the Hall of Fame Game? Why didn't they save it for a more crucial part of the season?
Says the person who supports marijuana legalization
Zeus Gaming // Minecraft, Madden and More! Yah. Do you not?
David Funderburk you realize the hall of fame game is not a set team they only play one game
my point is that it's a preseason game. Why would you give away a trick play in a preseason game? Teams will look for it the rest of the year.
I guess to have fun?! Nobody will ever know! Also, Zeus Gaming // Minecraft, Madden and More! really?
Great Vid!!
Leroy Butler...Leroy Butler to 30...40 Leroy Butler....Leroy butler....Leroy Butler. lol
hahaha yeah, I was hoping there'd be a Leroy Butler comment on the first page haha
The fake Statue of Liberty is hilarious. Imagine being ready for a trick play and then getting extra bamboozled

Is there a recording of when Jim (high tops) Turner scored a touchdown for the Broncos against the Raiders? He was the kicker for the Broncos and faked the field goal and then went out for the pass. It was the start of the Broncos finally coming out and being a good team after many tough years.
I have respect for vanderbilt's punter towards the end of the video. He put his shoulder down and was ready for contact unlike most punter's is football now days.
for the one that starts at 8:00 - isn't that illegal substitution? I thought they was a rule that said if you substituted, you had to come into the centre of the field before going back to a wide position
great video
i was ur 1000th sub
Hook and ladder, Boise vs Oklahoma, only one I've ever seen executed flawlessly
great vid
Awesome Stuff!
1:50 I'm a Notre Dame fan, and I remember watching that game with my dad. I see this video on RUclips at least once a month always reminding me of that
I got you your 3000 subscriber
Love them all! That's American football. But Boise State vs Oklahoma has to be the greatest David-vs-Goliath trickery comeback of them all!
Good to see, sometimes football gets out right booring
I believe former Nebraska QB Turner Gill is the coach at Presbytirian and that bounce pass was used by him against Oklahoma in 1982. A Tom Osborne play.
