Ugh! Talk about pulling at the heartstrings, was really pulling for both of the lovable ol gents 😭😭😭 Another great one Chilly, can't express enough what a privilege it is to get to experience a truly great age in entertainment (and the awesome classics of the commercials and news as well!!!)

This was first played in 1975 and they are talking about a computer that she could hold in her hand! Wow.
In 1969 I saw my first computer, it was as large as a commercial refrigerator. Ii thought it was cool that my cousin used a punch card to make create "x's" in the outline of Snoopy. My cousin was in the University of North Carolina's computer lab.... The "x's" used for making the Snoopy was just like what we did 6 years later in typing class. LOL. 👵
If I had heard this in 1975 I wouldn't have known what she was talking about if she could hide it under a scarf. 👵

It was a fantasy about the future. Some seem ridiculous; some actually came true.

My uncle brought us a handheld calculator back in the 1970s, we were amazed by it. It could add/subtract/multiply/divide, and had a red LED display. Cost? $100. Today you can buy a cheap laptop that will do anything you could possibly want for $100 to $300.

In 1977 the new Texas Instruments calculator was recommended for my math and science classes. 120 bucks!

The actor portraying David sounds like Ward Cleaver from Leave it to Beaver.

For some reason comments aren't showing up on my iPhone's RUclips app. This one did, but not the two it says we're already posted.

In 1975 if I wanted to know if someone was taken to a hospital, how would you use a telephone book. Then keep call each one. 👵

Seems that not knowing the future would be less stressful. Kind of repetitive ep to me, though.
