Such a great jam, and the way it bleeds into switch...the song of my youth, and now the song of Friday nights in my garage with beers and friends Great playing!!
Addicted to playing these songs ! Especially high and Dry ! thank you for your Hard work on these ! I have been rocking out to Bringing on the heartbreak ! Another hit and run ! And others ! Wish i could Jam with ya ! but kinda am :-)
You are definitely worthy to be in the band with Def Leppard 🙌, I think mr.joe Elliot will hire you, but you get my point,you are really that 👍 good of a guitar player,you can play anything
I've been a fan from day one, and I've learned all my DL from you! Going to see them in July, can't help but think of your videos while I'm there. Thanks for the great playing and videos for the ones like me trying to pick it up as well.
Thankyou for the reply,and I do agree ,and you sound great,I have played a few models and found the ones i liked were very pricey,2300 =+,just wondering if your model is expensive I like the color and have not found one in red until this video,and if you have any advise on ones to aviod would be great. I have a jvm 410 very versitile amp withcel 30 thanks rkrk1
@kdenn71 VST is actually a trademark of Steinberg Media Technologies in Germany ... is stands for 'Virtual Studio Technology' and is used with Cubase, Reaper, and many other sound recording software packages ... a VST can simulate a distortion pedal, or maybe a reverb or delay pedal and even Marshall amps and many other instruments. I have a couple of very nice free VST plugins for Reaper: a reverb & a compression - can really add depth to a recording & usually high quality sounds.
My understanding is the twin guitars in the studio recording were tuned slightly apart from one another on either side of A 440. My guitar was tuned to standard so it sounds a bit off.
@krisaf778 Tabs are just someone elses interpretation of how it is played as well. I used to get tab books but stopped when I realized that many of them are incorrect and thus a headache. RUclips is a great place to get a good idea of how something is played and I hope that my channel offers that to people who study DL.
Awsome playing,and sound,I want to buy a les paul but no nothing about them ,ie what pickups does yours have,what model is it ,I have tried a few models but i really like the tone from yours,my musical tastes are wide and would like one that can sound good for hard rock and blues any suggestions Thanks rkrk1
Dammit! I was gonna do this song next....hahaha. Ok, I'll probably do it anyway...but it's gonna be 90% identical to yours, it looks like we learned it the same way. I love your channel....keep it up!!!
Tab for chorus starting at 5:30? I've seen alot of versions to play it on different tabs, but you sound closest to the way Steve played it. Appreciate the help, Clark's proud dude. All of Def is, I'm sure.
Brother i Love " Def Leppard : Im a Guitarist myself & Yes it would be sooo cool to Jam with you Keep Rocking Man lol 😁 by the I like The Smile , Laughter in this Video i do the samething when I Play !!! 🎵🎶🎵🎶😛🎶🎵
Right on Kenyon! Man that was soulful ... great sound too (you should email me the manufacturer of the VSTs) - I know you are very technical so I bet you a LOT of work into that ... your Switch 625 was better than mine - I either wasn't fast enough or didn't know the notes. You nailed it bro ... love this album of songs!!
Beautiful " great 👍 right on the money!" God forbid, if any Def Leppard guitar 🎸 player should pass away you mr. Kenyon should take over as lead guitar in Def Leppard, you are worthy" Mr.Kenyon, can you play us a little song from Belinda Carlisle ( lead singer from the Go- Go's, (Heaven is a place on Earth) when she went solo,that was a big hit for Belinda Carlisle. If you get a chance
@rkrk1504 In terms of a guitar that fits you I can just say that I look for a feel that a guitar has. How it sounds in my hands unplugged. Then I try to find an amp that fits that guitar. It is a very personal choice. Take the time you need to listen to each guitar and find what you like. I am flattered with your comment because much of the tone comes from a player not just the guitar. For example you can tell Slash or Jimmy Page or Eric Johnson and Steve Vai from their playing not just guitar.
It will be in September. Just have not booked the date yet. If you want 1,500. I will gladly pay you that. I will be in touch. Keep ROCKIN Kenyon. James
VERY skillful performance!!!! It was a pleasure to listen !!!!

awsome dude !!! :D
Fretboard theory is valuable to learning the structure of what you are doing. The ear is a muscle and listening is it's exercise.
Yasss!
@HRjunky Thank you!
@DefLepp627 Thanks man
In short, what equipment you use (pedal/proc, amp, settings)?
Thanks in advance.
Kenyon Denning What amp and pedals did you use to get your tone?
A great guitar can be addicting. :-)
How did you get that tone? sounds exactly like it was recorded on the album
@LetItRocK561 Thanks again. :-)
@MATTNMISSY Thanks Matt!!
@kdenn71 is that a 1959 Les Paul Standard?
@bustoutxxx That is a great song! This version is a little different though.

@bubbabragg Been thinking of that one and Rock of Ages for a while. I may get to it in the future.
@krisaf778 Yes they are.
@jeffersononetwo Sounds nice. I am not that fancy at this point. Right now I just have my Korg PX3 and that's it. :-)
Brotha! Can you do Foolin'?!
@TheFloydRoselover That is a question for you to answer.
Is it hard to play this part 0:19
@mikeike32 Thanks! No tabs. It's all ear.
It will be in September. Just have not booked the date yet. If you want 1,500. I will gladly pay you that. I will be in touch. Keep ROCKIN Kenyon. James

Dude, you are awsome. What would you charge to come to Michigan for a night and play at a private party of mine on the lake. Air fair and hotel on me.
@abimacharigue Thanks.
do you consider "Bringin' On the Heartbreak" and "Swith 625" just one song?
@liljimi321 Production values. IMHO
Dude, excellent cover as usual! You have my vote to replace Vivian!
@TheUnicornslayer Thanks. Glad I'm not a unicorn. :-p
It was great, steve clark had an amazing ability to play something you thought was simple...but make you watch...
you kick ass...
