    🎸Thanks to Furch for sending this amazing guitar for me to check out. It became my n.1 guitar instantly.
    🎸THE GUITAR I AM USING IN THIS VIDEO
    Since you ask all the time, guys, I decided to let you know which guitar I am using in each video. Today I have been using my Furch Yellow Master's Choice.
    🎸ABOUT THIS VIDEO
    It's crazy to think that there was a time in history when making a guitar could literally get you in trouble with the law.
    It's even crazier to think that in that exact moment in history, a guy managed to build what it's now one of the most unique and innovative acoustic guitars on the market.
    It is just like if you were born at the wrong time but somehow still managed to fulfill the purpose of your life.
    In this video, I want to talk to you about this beautiful Furch guitars. We will talk about the history and the incredible innovations that this guitar has brought. We will also talk about price and my personal experience with the beautiful Furch Yellow Master's Choice.
    I want to thank Furch for getting in touch and give me the chance to try one of their models. Their guitars are amazing and unique, so I am very happy to share this review experience with you, guys.
    Now, the first Furch was made by Frank Furch, back in the 70s. It's worth mentioning that the communist regime didn't allow any private entrepreneurial activity, so building guitars wasn't approved, yet, mister Furch managed to build over 100 guitars, which made him the top guitar maker on the Czech scene.
    Even though Furch created beautiful sounding guitars, he was only able to expand in 1989 when the Velvet Revolution brought the collapse of communism in Czechoslovakia.
    There are a lot of things that I love about this guitar from a visual standpoint. The Grand Auditorium shape, which is great for fingerstyle and strumming and the cedar top board, gives a beautiful looking color to the guitar. I also love the neck and the simple fret markers. Of course, the beautiful "F" trademark on the headstock is still the most recognizable feature of these guitars.
    In 2006, Peter Furch (Frank Furch's son) joined the company and brought into the productions a lot of modern technology to make the sound of the Furch guitars unique. They didn't want to sound like Martin or Taylor, so they work hard to create a guitar that could speak with her voice.
    Let's talk about a few innovative features that this guitar can offer.
    Point 1. The composite neck design neck also called by Furch the CNR system. The truss-road is fixed in a rigid carbon casing, so it is very hard and stable.
    I like to change different strings, and I use very lite gage, so I want a guitar that doesn't need to be continuously set up every time I change the strings, or I change the gage.
    Point 2. The board. On each guitar, the top board is "voiced." Meaning, the top board has a different thickness on each guitar. The top board is shaped based on several specs such as acoustic, thickness, and loudness.
    Point 3. Thinner lacquer for more brightness and sustain.
    Let me know what you think about this beautiful guitar guys.
    Enjoy this video :)

    How long have you been playing guitar?
    I started playing guitar when I was 10 years old, so it has been more than 20 years. I have always loved fingerpicking guitar, so this is why all my tutorials focus on this topic.

    I’m 35 now and I bought a Taylor GS8 when I was 20. For the last 15 years I’ve played every brand of acoustic for one I liked more than my Taylor. I never found one until today when I played and then purchased a Furch Yellow D CR. It’s the nicest guitar I’ve ever played or heard by a large margin. I’m addicted to playing it and will have it my whole life. Thank you so much to this wonderful company. Thanks to all the men and women who work at Furch. Greatly appreciate it with all my heart 🙏❤️

    Beautiful Marco, as always! I’m a big fan of your playing, tutorials and choice of compositions. Good story about the creation of the Furch Guitars - worth every bit of the struggle - AWESOME guitars... The tonal quality and balance across the base, mids and trebles provides such crisp, clear fundamentals accompanied by those supportive overtones. And with that melodic projection and lovely sustain, it really does have a beautiful voice.

    I’m an older (70) Martin player and I’m accustomed to a Martin sound. In particular, a balanced sound. (Lows, mids and highs are balanced.) The Furch guitar that Marco is playing moves me. It is a lovely instrument.

    • @lebe220
      @lebe220 2 года назад

      Yes, the balanced sound of the Martin attracts me. Furch is like in a cathedral, Gibson too strong, Taylor too bright. My Ovation 12-string is the one for me. And my Ortega Guitarlele (ebony). As a 6-string, I would try the 000 15 sm full mahagony.
      Maybe compare it with a small Furch. Greetings from Germany and a merry Xmas.

    I've been playing acoustic fingerstyle since the mid 60s and have owned over 50 guitars over the years; one Martin, many Taylors and a few expensive hand-mades. My 'keeper' is now a Furch Yellow Plus G-CR which is pretty much the same as the one in the video except it has Koa bindings and no cutaway. A few months ago I wanted to get another and went looking for a Taylor again and having narrowed my choice down to the 514, 614 and 714, I got my Furch out of the car to compare against the three and it was obviously head and shoulders better in terms of tone and volume (even the salesman agreed). So it's my keeper. If I had a magic wand, I'd like a slightly tighter fretboard radius, a zero fret and 12 frets to the body with a cutaway - that for me would be perfection.

    I am not saying that I would sell my own mother for this guitar...but I would at least entertain the notion. Seriously beautiful looking and sounding instrument (the guitar not my Mum, sorry Mum), this Furch make, and Fylde make, are among the best guitars out there.

      Le Furch sono belle chitarre. Io adoro la mia Yellow quindi vai tranquillo. Se vuoi mandami una email ti metto in contatto con loro. Btw, if someone replies to your comment saying you won a guitar don’t contact them! They are telegram scammers!

    I really think there’s a section of people that would put strings on a polished rock and try to compare it to Martin to just to try, try, try to beat the big dog…..No……

      Hey plays something similar in his video on Celtic music but it’s not the same

  • @roderickmathison5245
    @roderickmathison5245 Год назад

    There’s a sumptuousness to Furchs. I would almost suggest they’re better than Taylors. Dowinas are also worth having a look at (slightly more “organic” & earthy than Furchs).

    The tabs for your intro are not in the description. And I’ve seen your other Celtic video it doesn’t sound like this. This is insane stuff and I must know how to play it but the camera angles are too swift!!

    Beautiful guitar and playing Marco. Gorgeous guitar rivals my Taylor GA 312 CE acoustic electric. Probably better. May be even like 512 CE or better. Bliss. Merci beaucoup.

    How does ir compare to the vintage 3 om?

    • @vyvynylification
      @vyvynylification 4 месяца назад +1

      I had 2 vintage 3 OM's, tried many furch yellows and currently still own a furch red masters choice. The yellow is a lovely guitar with a lovely sound. It's still very defined with clear notes, typical furch, but it has a warmth to the sound due to the cedar top. My furch red is similar but sounds brighter due to the sitka top and has a more complex sound/overtones. The Vintage 3's were more like the red but with a less complex sound, more straightforward. They were brighter than the yellow for sure, but had much stronger mids and highs in comparison. If I were to play celtic music or alternative tunings, I'd take the yellow any day for the unique, warm sound. For a more Tommy Emmanuel kind of playing where a melody needs to come out, I'd prefer the vintage 3
