It’s about being Live! First time I saw them about 10 years ago. I cried when I heard Kasmir Live again. I never thought I would ever hear that Song performed that well ever again. People put James down for his Vocals. You have to remember this is Live and he sings like Plant Live not on Album! That’s what makes it sound so damn good!!! I also saw Zeppelin Live in 77. I was 17. I wish I could see that again! This is the next best thing!!!
@remnantsofasoundblast he's gotten really reslly good in his own right. He is really a very, very good drummer. He has worked on every single fraction of a second of his father's recordings, live and studio, and it has taken 40 years, but he's come in to his own. He'll never be his dad. He knows that. Everyone knows that, but he stuck with it and plays with some of the very best outside of his Zeppelin band. Black Country Communion is a hell of a lineup. He slso playing for Foreigner, to name a couple. His dad would be very proud, and he's sobered up and worked hard being humble.
I would be a blubbering mess if I saw this live!! Very emotional to relive this phenomenal experience. Wow wow wow!!!! Wonderful how Mr Jimmy, Jason and his team have resurrected this most unusual beast that was Led Zeppelin. Amazing!!!
He opened up with the Disregard For Time Keeping line up with Canadian singer Danny McMaster (RIP) for THE CULT's Sontic Tempe world tour in 1989 at the Montreal Forum. He had a broken hand with a cast from a 4 wheeler accident and played half drum kit half sample pad. It was a great opener for THE BEST show of my entire life. I've seen over 200 shows, and THE CULT absolutely tore the roof off! I've met Jason several times. This line up and Jason's relenless strive for perfection is his best of all time!
Funny, I just saw that the "Mr. Jimmy" documentary is coming out in October, and here's this. He does a phenomenal job of covering Page's sound, style and look. And Jason...well, it's in his DNA.
Bonham's got the name, Mr. Jimmy has Page's solos down note-for-note, but this is lacking any spark, any energy, any chemisry or controlled chaos that was such a big part of LZ. "Good Times, Bad Times" almost put me to sleep.
@@Metalhead4EVR I also liked Jason's own stuff..his music was great!! Saw him one time..he played our town prolly four or five times..but it was a good show an it left me thinking why not carry on zep with Jason!! Hell yes💪🇬🇧❤️
@@eye5856 bullshit!! Never too old to rocknroll!! Plants voice maybe..but with all the computer generated effects out now you can make an asshole sound good!!💪🇺🇲🇬🇧🇺🇦😎
☆☆☆ 2:31 Mr. Jimmy Sakuria is wearing the green sleeveless t-shirt that Page wore for Zeppelin's very last gig with Bonzo on 07/07/80 in Berlin!☆☆☆
Glad to see Jimmy Sakura back with the band- nobody plays Zeppelin better than him
Thank you for making this available, John!
Great sound!!!
Fun to hear the old songs again. But, sometimes you just can't put the magic back in the bottle.
I agree. It's fun to hear and see this, Jason keeping the tradition alive, but there are no goosebumps affecting me from these performances.
Probably because its not the ACTUAL band... LOL> however is there a BETTER cover band for Zep ??

I've seen Jason eight times since 1990 four times with this lineup.

Saw them at the rocks this past summer. It was great a much better show than I expected
Yes . I was pleasantly surprised myself. Still got a two and a half hour Mule show also.
A gigantic Thank You John. I'm really enjoyed this show and very impressed how great this band is.
Sounds pretty dang good to me ✌🏼😅✌🏼

What language is this? lol.
@jphicksmusicworld Japanese for the guitarist Mr.Jimmy Sakuria.
I think they should have had free keg beer for three hours then kicked it off with good times bad times

People get old.... it happens.... but you're comparing apples to oranges
Imagine the perspective.... I mean, it seems more for jason than the audience.... which..... I agree with yer statement
I'd rather see this in a small bar or a street dance
@@MatthewGill-nv4tb I've heard better from legit tribute bands.
Y’all’s a bunch of grumpy old farts 💨 takes one to know one you might say😅
Zeppelin should re form with Jason for real!!❤🇬🇧🇺🇲🇺🇦💪😎
