These are good tips on how to buy fragrances for less. I have gotten some beautiful fragrances from garage/estate sales and antiques malls. I have been doing this a long time and I'm more picky now than I used to be and maybe that's why I don't find as many good deals as I used to even back 4 or 5 years ago?? I think it's partially for this reason and because of tv shows and social media people are more aware that perfume has value and that some of us collect them, and the prices for some of the better stuff that I used to see go for almost nothing have risen kind of high now. But despite that, there are still good deals to be had, and for me a lot of the fun of it is in the hunt. There's nothing like a good scrounge in a dusty old antiques mall looking for hidden gems :) I give away all of my destashed fragrances either to my nieces or to our local charity shop (not a Goodwill). I was in there one day and overheard some girls talking about all the great perfume finds they got in there after I brought them a box - it was fun to hear others get excited over it like I get when I find "treasures" :)

I have a bottle of Lovely sitting in my donation pile. After this video I went and sprayed some on and got a complement from my husband later. 😂 So it’s back on my shelf now.

Lovely had to grow on me, and now I think it’s very pretty. It did change as it sat. Glad you’re enjoying yours.

I always learn so much with your videos! I love to watch documentaries and never occurred to me to watch a perfume documentary. I will now! My only way yo get perfumes at a lower price is going regularly to discount stores, once in a while I find a great deal! I always wanted to go to garage sales but they are usually on Saturdays and I work every Saturday. But will look for the shopgoodwill and see what I find around me. Thanks again for all your tips and info! ❤

I subbed to you today. We buy the same kind of perfumes, in general. I don’t think I’d ever buy something as high as the BR540 category, but that’s an exception for you, and I’ve made some exceptions for designers I like such as Donna Born in Roma, Vanilla 28 and Hypnotic Poison.
Anyway, I see the general theme that we like the same kind of perfume. Your channel reminds me of elements of Ruth Anne McKinnon’s channel and Skinscents for Fusspots, both of which I love. It’s like chatting with a friend about perfume, and I love it! I also think we’re close in age based on certain things you’ve said in this and other videos. I’m 47. Sometimes you make me nostalgic. 😊
Anyway, thanks for the perfume chat.

Have you ever seen the movie Perfume: A Story of a Murderer ? I believe it’s based on a book. I have seen the movie but not read the book. It’s morbid but so well done.

Your videos are so informative. Do the Impressive Bliss Oils all have an undertone to their fragrance oils? I ordered some oils from another company and can't use them because they all have this odd, similar note that blooms, and I don't like it all. It was even in one I bought for my husband, and it didn't belong in a men's cologne. So gross. But I think it is this company and the oil they are using. I was thinking about garage sales to expand my perfume collection. It's that time of year and I love the hunt! I'm super frugal and won't spend the big bucks except on special fragrances. I often check Ross since they have a decent selection at low prices, but that can be hit or miss with the blind buys. I like everything, but longevity is the biggest issue. Lovely is on the way, and I sure hope that I like it.

I do not pick up any carrier oil smell from impressive bliss and I know what you mean by that. I really like these oils- probably my favorite. Oil perfumery has a more current selection but are twice the price and those do have kind of an oil perfumery smell.

May I ask how you apply your body splashes?
I have a few from B&BW, but as I’ve gotten more into fragrance and I value longevity and projection, I find them frustrating. I don’t need them to be beastly and I couldn’t care less about receiving comments or compliments, but if I loved and purchased the scent, I want to at least smell it on myself for a few hours before needing to reapply!
Where do you apply yours? Do you mousturize beforehand, and with what? Do you mostly layer, or use them by themselves?

Hi! I apply on skin. I spray chest, back of neck, inner elbow, back of knees. I do a few additional sprays on my left forearm so I can sniff throughout the day. I do not notice a huge difference in projection with body sprays versus EDPs, but I am a light sprayer when it comes to perfume. The price difference makes BBW a no brainer for me. Hope this answers your question!
