    This is so dedicative workout routine. Perfect. I have looked at a bunch of ones that are famous. They all cram in like 5 minutes saying do this or do that. But this is perfect. Up from basics. Will be following it rigorously.

    Power moves require a lot of flexibility and strength for most of them. Some of them require balance. Most of them require momentum. For windmills you want momentum + flexibility ideally, it doesn't require a lot of strength. For Headspins you want balance and core strength as well as momentum. For airflares you want shoulder strength, momentum, and balance. For flares you want flexibility, control of your weight distribution, momentum, and core strength. Best way to learn is to practice.

    t is! Actually 100 per day is enough for you to learn most of the moves in this SOLPM series. 200 is a number that does not fail though. For example, even if your legs go wrong you correct them by making 200 per day.
    As if you do not want to learn but yet you will end up learning by making 200 per day by force.
    This is the conclusion of the SOLPM and the motive we named it science because we tested people with this average 200 and it worked.
    No doubts though that 100 is a good number.

    you may train 2 or 3 power moves at a time. However, the problem is that your legs may become overwhelmed so you have to stretch a lot and take some 15/20 minutes break before moving to another move. But yeah you can train more than 1 at a time for sure.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 лет назад

    Follow the video. This is the most efficient way. Even though you had some experience before training the exercises will give you good coordination and balance.

    Hey Science of power move, I have a hard time doing these repetitions and being patient with them. I would rather just drill the move over and over again until it gets better.
    Is there any motivation you could give for me to train powermoves like how you see in the video?

    • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
      @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  10 лет назад +2

      Combine them.
      The best way to motivate yourself is to understand that by training exercises you will master the move much better. You will have far more control than if you just train the drills.
      In addition, your flexibility will get better. You will know your body better. Other moves you train are likely to become better as well by raining these exercises.
      Here is a concrete suggestion. Train around 100 repetitions per day and then train your drills. Something in this line.

    • @PopBenji98

      Alright, that seems like a great way to look at it! Thank you!

    • @Shack
      @Shack 10 лет назад +2

      He already gave the "secret". It's repetition and conditioning. Don't look for easy ways. If you really want to do the move correctly, that should be the motivation you use. If you don't practice good form you could be drilling the moves incorrectly for years without ever fully getting them down when you could have perfected them in a few weeks-months if you just followed the guide he made.

    Hey I really like your tutorials and I'm motivated to learn because I think your method is effective. I'm doing kung fu and I'm very interested in learning tricking and breakdance so I started today the btwist and the windmill but I don't have enough time to do 200 reps so I do half of what you say (100 reps). Do you think that it's enough to get those moves down in the estimated time (I'm in a good shape) ? Please answer me because I'm trying learn the btwist and the windmill since almost a year and I tried several methods but I didn't get significant results except for a bkick ...

    Is it easy for tall guys ?
    Im 6'1 ... ive been trying to learn breakdance and i wish to learn some tricks like airchairs and windmills ...
    i started off with couple of freezes like baby freeze and turtle freeze ... and i feel difficulty in holding myself up on one hand .. my wrists have started to hurt , and the side of my belly where i place my elbow for the support , is red and its hurting a little !
    So i dont know if its just me or does this happen with every beginner ?

    • @atypical_blk_guy
      @atypical_blk_guy 10 лет назад

      i'm 5'11 myself and have trouble with my windmills, you're having pain in your wrist because you haven't built enough strength in them yet. Look up bboy milestone: he has a tutorial called freeze switches. It'll teach you how to transfer weight from wrist to wrist and build strentght. I did it for a month and the strength in my wrist and core improved a lot. Also for people like us that are tall flexibility is key for power moves. The further you can spread your legs into a side split the further out your center of mass will be which will make you lighter when in freezes etc.

      Jack frost train always within your limits. If you follow the tutorial you will learn it sooner or later because the system is linear. You just need to keep attention to your body and avoid unnecessary injury. No rush is the key but train to force yourself anyway. It will pay off!

      Head not touching the ground is not an issue. Have a lot of rounds done correctly without head touching the ground to learn to kick better with your legs. Start using head when you want to learn no-handed windmills.

      Windmill is probably easier in terms of strength but you can get more injury. Flare is heavier, it may take more time but it is low risk in terms of injury. The single thing that can happen is wrist lesion for a while. No more than that.

    I've been practicing for 10 days now and I am on step 11. My struggle now is not that I can't get the technique down, but I have developed pretty bad bruises on my inside hip from my elbow pressing on it and my shoulder when dipping. Should I wait for them to heal? Or just continue with the program and live through the pain? Only reason I ask is because I'm wondering if anyone else experiences these tough bruises.

      you can learn it without much flexibility. What you can do is to keep stretching along the way as you practice the exercises.
