Thank you very much, i've learned it, because this is the only windmill tutorial which explains it slowly, with ALL the steps one by one. the best of this video is that it shows you what windmill consists, other videos just show you de moves
Hii, im using your tutorial and i reached the 10th progresian and i want to say huge thanks to you, your tutorial helped me alot, just one thing, becouse everyones body is different, everyone needs different time to get thouse moves, so i realy recomand people to train until they fell they mastered the progression.
This is so dedicative workout routine. Perfect. I have looked at a bunch of ones that are famous. They all cram in like 5 minutes saying do this or do that. But this is perfect. Up from basics. Will be following it rigorously.
Thank you so much! I've just done my first windmill. :) 15days in. :D Now I just need to follow the rest of your tutorial to learn how to make it smoother and do continuous windmills!!
Wow, perfect! I have the basic mechanics for the windmill, but I have been having trouble with smoothening it out and making it clean. I think some of the drills here would help me to perfect my windmill! great job, keep it up :)
Power moves require a lot of flexibility and strength for most of them. Some of them require balance. Most of them require momentum. For windmills you want momentum + flexibility ideally, it doesn't require a lot of strength. For Headspins you want balance and core strength as well as momentum. For airflares you want shoulder strength, momentum, and balance. For flares you want flexibility, control of your weight distribution, momentum, and core strength. Best way to learn is to practice.
I suggest following the steps inch by inch i followed the steps and i can do the windmill better and quicker than i used to do with the other youtube channels.
t is! Actually 100 per day is enough for you to learn most of the moves in this SOLPM series. 200 is a number that does not fail though. For example, even if your legs go wrong you correct them by making 200 per day. As if you do not want to learn but yet you will end up learning by making 200 per day by force. This is the conclusion of the SOLPM and the motive we named it science because we tested people with this average 200 and it worked. No doubts though that 100 is a good number.
Israel Machaca it can be easy, can be hard- luckily for me, i dont have to train 1990 - i did it in my first attemp- but sadly, its reversed from my flare -
Muito obrigado pela consideracao! Irei estar postando mais tutorias para incentivar essa nova rapaziada que está chegando na cena. E fico feliz de saber que ha pessoas como vc contribuindo para o nosso movimento. Saudacoes! Bboy Guinho
I've already started learning mills before I saw this video and I'm already comfortable with some of the steps. Should I just skip those steps and move on to the others since I already got them down?
you may train 2 or 3 power moves at a time. However, the problem is that your legs may become overwhelmed so you have to stretch a lot and take some 15/20 minutes break before moving to another move. But yeah you can train more than 1 at a time for sure.
Follow the video. This is the most efficient way. Even though you had some experience before training the exercises will give you good coordination and balance.
Can you make a tutorial about clockwise or right the first rising leg because im a right leg and im being confused if i do the twist so i hope that you make about clockwise thing . THANKS SOLPM ! Hope that you make Many other tutorials and I love all your tuts
Yes! At some point. the SOLPM will always do series of tutorials. Now we are still posting some basics but then we will put more advanced ones. Thank you!
Hey Science of power move, I have a hard time doing these repetitions and being patient with them. I would rather just drill the move over and over again until it gets better. Is there any motivation you could give for me to train powermoves like how you see in the video?
Combine them. The best way to motivate yourself is to understand that by training exercises you will master the move much better. You will have far more control than if you just train the drills. In addition, your flexibility will get better. You will know your body better. Other moves you train are likely to become better as well by raining these exercises. Here is a concrete suggestion. Train around 100 repetitions per day and then train your drills. Something in this line.
He already gave the "secret". It's repetition and conditioning. Don't look for easy ways. If you really want to do the move correctly, that should be the motivation you use. If you don't practice good form you could be drilling the moves incorrectly for years without ever fully getting them down when you could have perfected them in a few weeks-months if you just followed the guide he made.
PARABÉNS IRMÃO PELOS VIDEOS E PELA ESTRADA SEI QUE A SUA E LONGA, DANÇO A 19 ANOS ESTOU COM 38 ANOS , E SÃO PESSOAS IGUAL A VOCÊ QUE ME INSPIRA A CONTINUAR A DANÇAR!!
Yayy Thank you!!! Finally got 3 Rounds :DD, Do You Have Any Tipps For Me To Make My Windmills Cleaner? I Posted a video on my chanel of me doing windmills
+Thunderus Emotion I broke my right big toe coming around on my second windmill. a week off and I'm trying again with it taped. Success will be at 5 without my hips touching the ground.
Hey I really like your tutorials and I'm motivated to learn because I think your method is effective. I'm doing kung fu and I'm very interested in learning tricking and breakdance so I started today the btwist and the windmill but I don't have enough time to do 200 reps so I do half of what you say (100 reps). Do you think that it's enough to get those moves down in the estimated time (I'm in a good shape) ? Please answer me because I'm trying learn the btwist and the windmill since almost a year and I tried several methods but I didn't get significant results except for a bkick ...
Is it easy for tall guys ? Im 6'1 ... ive been trying to learn breakdance and i wish to learn some tricks like airchairs and windmills ... i started off with couple of freezes like baby freeze and turtle freeze ... and i feel difficulty in holding myself up on one hand .. my wrists have started to hurt , and the side of my belly where i place my elbow for the support , is red and its hurting a little ! So i dont know if its just me or does this happen with every beginner ?
i'm 5'11 myself and have trouble with my windmills, you're having pain in your wrist because you haven't built enough strength in them yet. Look up bboy milestone: he has a tutorial called freeze switches. It'll teach you how to transfer weight from wrist to wrist and build strentght. I did it for a month and the strength in my wrist and core improved a lot. Also for people like us that are tall flexibility is key for power moves. The further you can spread your legs into a side split the further out your center of mass will be which will make you lighter when in freezes etc.
Jack frost train always within your limits. If you follow the tutorial you will learn it sooner or later because the system is linear. You just need to keep attention to your body and avoid unnecessary injury. No rush is the key but train to force yourself anyway. It will pay off!
Hi there, thanks for the tutorial. I can do a windmill but my problem is my head is not touching the ground. Is it wrong? Or I need to train to let my head touch the ground?
Head not touching the ground is not an issue. Have a lot of rounds done correctly without head touching the ground to learn to kick better with your legs. Start using head when you want to learn no-handed windmills.
hii, i had the same problom until i joined a group and someone told me that i should open my lag even in the spining (step 1), i think it will help you but i wouldnt learn it if he wouldnt move my lags... learning alone sucks
Windmill is probably easier in terms of strength but you can get more injury. Flare is heavier, it may take more time but it is low risk in terms of injury. The single thing that can happen is wrist lesion for a while. No more than that.
yes..skip but make sure you have developed enough strength in the exercises...only doing it is not enough...you need to master it in a way that your legs become automatically in the right position
I've been practicing for 10 days now and I am on step 11. My struggle now is not that I can't get the technique down, but I have developed pretty bad bruises on my inside hip from my elbow pressing on it and my shoulder when dipping. Should I wait for them to heal? Or just continue with the program and live through the pain? Only reason I ask is because I'm wondering if anyone else experiences these tough bruises.
If we do a break of 1 minute between each repetition for 200repetition, finally there are more then 3 hours + the exercise + the warm-up and stretching
I want to clean up my mills a bit, and I can already do step 11, should I start there? and also, should I use my head on the ground? (goal is to have stabbed headmills) Thanks, Bboy Kingpin
Lilswiz The more straight the better it is. However, you may also develop your flexibility along the way by always training before and after your training sections. Watch the video "SOLPM stretching"
Thank you so much. i've done your exercises about 300 each one and i can do windmills now :) subscribe + next target flares, hope you will make tutorial how to do jackhammers :)

I've watched 100 tutorials! This is by far the most helpful. I'm so close !!
Hell yeah! This breaks things down so much better.
Me too I am also so close really it is so helpful for me and I almost watch all tutorial in youtube
this is the best explanation I have ever found. thank you so much. you really broke it down very well!
Thank you very much, i've learned it, because this is the only windmill tutorial which explains it slowly, with ALL the steps one by one. the best of this video is that it shows you what windmill consists, other videos just show you de moves

Oh and just wanted to say this is an amazing idea for the tutorial, you guys break it down very well!

Wish I could find this kind of video 20 years ago. Super well explained and detailled.
It does make easier to learn power moves indeed. Continue to do the exercises.
Thank you!

Finally actually a tutorial that makes sense
best tutorials ever thank you

Hey your channel is very helpful.
If i can already do step 11 should i just start from there or still start from step 1?
start from step 11 and thank you =)

Yes! At some point. the SOLPM will always do series of tutorials. Now we are still posting some basics but then we will put more advanced ones.
Thank you!
do i need strength training before i do this or i just need to finish all of the steps even if i've just started bboying?
Hey Science of power move, I have a hard time doing these repetitions and being patient with them. I would rather just drill the move over and over again until it gets better.

We can gap in practice after completing step 1?
How many hours do u spent on each step per day? Are the first section necessary if you already do the windmill, but does not master it?
Any help with step 10? My feet keeps touching the ground :-(

Your tutorial is great but any suggestion to get more speed off the stab. Cause I can get from my back to stab but not the other way around

The Science of Learning Power Move Cool , thanks !
Jack frost it happends to all beginner(exuse me for my bad english)
Cool video bro!
Does it matter if you use carpet for a floor?
Will you make a tutorial for not using hands in windmill?
Hi there, thanks for the tutorial. I can do a windmill but my problem is my head is not touching the ground. Is it wrong? Or I need to train to let my head touch the ground?
Head not touching the ground is not an issue. Have a lot of rounds done correctly without head touching the ground to learn to kick better with your legs. Start using head when you want to learn no-handed windmills.
Hey thanks for the tips. I will try to work it out. I just can do at most 3 rounds. I think like u said I need to do more rounds first. Thanks
Edwin L keep your head down towards your chest(exuse me for my bad english)
Can you do a tutorial on swipes?
Can you do a floats tutorial please?
i'm having trouble with step 10/11. basically, getting over to the stab position on my right hand. any tips? muito obrigado!
hii, i had the same problom until i joined a group and someone told me that i should open my lag even in the spining (step 1), i think it will help you but i wouldnt learn it if he wouldnt move my lags... learning alone sucks
When you are trying to get back to the stab, you have to kick your legs up and turn the position you are going
Hi I'm 14 skinny and 5'3 and 110 pounds do you think I can learn the windmill technique ?
Yes it may even be easier for you
I'm a righty but my left hand stab is better but I have trouble creating momentum with my right leg which side should I learn
Practice on both... might take longer but better in the long run
What is easier between flare and windmill please?
Windmill is probably easier in terms of strength but you can get more injury. Flare is heavier, it may take more time but it is low risk in terms of injury. The single thing that can happen is wrist lesion for a while. No more than that.
Thank you so much!
Creedlane Swipe is the easiest powermove u can learn
Flare
where should I put my arm on which I lean? IN THE MIDDLE OF my belly? where abs are? or to the side where liver is?
ELDO! in between. Not really in the middle of your belly but a bit closer to the liver.
yes..skip but make sure you have developed enough strength in the exercises...only doing it is not enough...you need to master it in a way that your legs become automatically in the right position
should I do all the repititons in one sitting?
nailuj100 In one sitting you you adviced to do 5 or 10 repetitions in a row then a small break and then again.
Wow awesome video
sick but it is okay if I only do it 100 times a day instead of 200?
when i go for restab, my legs keep hitting the ground and i am unable to whip around for the second windmill
tips?
You should have you ass as higher as you can
I can do 7 one handed push ups on each hand, 110 crunches in one set and 25 chin ups... does this make it easier for me to learn these powermoves
That’s why you shouldn’t rush, it takes time for your body to adapt to the movements and to develop muscle memory
If we do a break of 1 minute between each repetition for 200repetition, finally there are more then 3 hours + the exercise + the warm-up and stretching
Ciprix98 Some people are able to do 200 in 1 and half hours. Sometimes less. It all depend on how effiient you are.
Yes i can do it right now... Flexibility can help during the windmill?
Flexibility helps in everything =)
The Science of Learning Power Move :( i'm not flexible
Ciprix98 thats why you need a stretching exercises(sorry for my bad english)
I want to clean up my mills a bit, and I can already do step 11, should I start there? and also, should I use my head on the ground? (goal is to have stabbed headmills) Thanks, Bboy Kingpin
SR I LIKE IT.,.,.,.,FROM PAKISTAN
Dope video can you do one for jackhammer
Wow this channel guys... SICK BRO
should i always keep my legs straight when doing the windmill?
Lilswiz The more straight the better it is. However, you may also develop your flexibility along the way by always training before and after your training sections. Watch the video "SOLPM stretching"
When first starting SOLPM, is it okay If I take a break day then continue with the schedule? I get sore and kind of tired.
Kadja Daniel watch the video "SOLPM Methodology, alternative way" It answers to all these questions.
u have really good background music
Thank you so much. i've done your exercises about 300 each one and i can do windmills now :) subscribe + next target flares, hope you will make tutorial how to do jackhammers :)

im able to do three poorly built windmills before i watched this video and i want to improve them, should i completely start over with this program?
No just skim through it and work on parts that need alot of work
i dont have much stretch of my legs
what should i do for that
you can learn it without much flexibility. What you can do is to keep stretching along the way as you practice the exercises.
can we have a barrel mill one? :)
I know its super basic, but what about a BACKSPIN tutorial? The correct mechanics to generate good acceleration, more spins etc,?
