@@lotsofcurveslover Owned many cas and i would say it does need AWD would be my only gripe.Very few cars can do 150 mph plus on the top end and also get 30 mpg if you drive it normally and smoothly.

A terrific review Nicola, you clearly enjoyed the car. Oh and that 'N' button for "Nicola" made me chuckle nearly as much as you when you pressed the red button. An SUV that answers back has me tempted. Nice one!
Love the look of the Kona N, can see you really seem to enjoy the car, it's a great versatile family (ish) styled car, although when test driving I thought the interior well more the dash and centre console seemed a little cheap and dull, for the nature and style of the outside. I don't think the ground clearance is really suv clearance anymore on these small crossover style hot hatches. Handles well though and sounds so good wen u floor it.
Does anyone know why some models of the Kona N seem to have different rims? I much prefer the spec shown in this video but can’t seem to find why they differ?
Yes the other silver wheels are for North America it seems, what a bummer because I really wanted these black wheels. We are also missing HUD and cooled seats which I was looking forward to.
I don't see the point in performance SUVs as they're a high riding car that has been lowered negating some of the ride height that one expects with such a vehicle and then doesn't handle as well as the hot hatch upon which they're based.
New to Nicolas vids. Vs the taycan review more technical insights. Great job, keep em coming. Love those wheels! But the info tabs all the same colour??
@@b.b3642 I had a i30n for a bit and loved it. But I still feel it could do with AWD. I test drove the Yaris GR and it's a world apart, their N range could be market leading if they added that option. As such I got rid of my i30n and waiting for the GR. Again this is just an opinion. 25 years ago I'd have been on your side, but also the cars would also all be significantly lighter.

Mmmh...not sure about this one. The power seem good and sounds of the engine is nice. Personally I want an SUV for the elevated seating position, practicality and being frugal would be good. Not looking for performance in an SUV but with adequate power and generally a good drive all round. The boot space is atrocious on this car being a compact one. The car that I would like to buy soon would be the new Kia Sportage AWD hybrid. The interior and exterior are really nice, decent power, frugal and has a 580L boot space. Granted the Sportage I mentioned cost £40k and is a little bigger, but it's in my opinion so much better all around apart from performance.
I hope that KIA and Hyundai are doing even better in UK and Europe because I heard in North America engines and transmissions fail. Sometimes they recall cars over fire hazards over in America.

My NA Kona N has a heated rear window but no heated side mirrors, facepalm. Missing heated and cooled front seat, heated back seat, no dimming rear view mirror, no hud, no forged wheels, no moonroof, no power side mirrors, no smart Cruz, this car’s performance isn’t good enough to make up for all the missing features in 2022. BTW 5.5/6.4 is not quick IMO, many sport front wheel drive cars can do that or better, nothing special. NGS is a gimmick, whatever you felt was due to the gear drop….
The styling is really attractive. But it is not really an SUV. It is a cool looking station wagon, i think the industry calls it a "cross over." The fuel efficiency is not very good. It is the worse of both worlds. Not the fun of a jeep or SUV, absolutely NOT OFF ROAD capability, but fuel efficiency also not very good... it's a g-d damn station wagon.
