My 6 year old son died on December 29, 1994 and we donated his organs. I don't know anything about the ones that received his organs but my prayer is that they got to go on and live rich, full, productive lives. The organ donating came about because he saw the pink dot on my drivers license and asked " Mommy what's that dot for?" I explained it to him and my little man said "that's what I want too". I didn't know that in a few months I would he honoring his wish.

I’m literally in tears my baby received a heart transplant a few days ago and this made me feel for the family of the little angel who saved my daughters life 😭 we waited 2 months my daughter is now recovering she’s almost 2 months of age 💗. This really made me sign up to donate my organs ❤️. Hopefully I can meet the donors family 💗 they are from Texas that’s all I know 🥺

Oh my goodness,I simply can’t imagine the grief these parents feel at this moment ,I’m a retired nurse,my five of my twenty year career were spent on an Oncology unit,I’ve been retired now for forty two years I still remember the names and faces of my terminally I’ll cancer patients,I never had the opportunity to be part of an honor walk ,it is I’m sure just as devastating for the Dr’s and nurses involved ,what a wonderful thing for these parents to do ,rest in heaven you precious little angel,may god bless her parents at thus tragic time .
My heart absolutely goes out to the decision her parents had to make and I also feel for the medical staff and the surgeons who have to harvest those precious organs in order to allow another to live. God Bless all donors.

I googled it if same one born march died few days before Christmas so about 8months old if its her says it was car crash. Brutal for any parents children meant to out live there parents not other way round I have personal experience from doing my family tree on my Irish grandfathers side his father lost sister month before her first birthday in 1901 of meningitis she was last born then on my grandmother's side the first born son her brother died Christmas day aged 5months from teething complications in 1914 . I Pray Alyssa is at peace and enjoying life in Heaven's Nursery rest in peace little one fly high with the Angels free from pain and suffering I'm so sorry to family for there loss may God comfort them at this awful tragic time

What a selfless act even at the darkest time in life to be strong enough to give the gift of life so other parents children have a chance at life. This was incredibly hard to watch for many reasons. Alyssa was only here for a short time but she made more of her life than most do in a lifetime. My heart goes out to her parents and family who were able to make the difficult and brave decision to save the life of others through organ donation. The respect of everyone who stood strongly as the wee miracle was celebrated and honoured as she was taken into God's hands. Eleven years ago when I was 32 my lifelong specialists gave me two years at the most to live which was realistic considering I have had all but one metre of my intestine removed over the years plus countless illnesses and complications. The hardest part was having to stop being a primary school teacher and solo foster Mum as this was my purpose. I'm still here fighting but one thing I've made clear to to my loved ones and it's also in my medical file that I want to donate anything that can help another person. I'm telling you this because in my country we have no donor registry which is appalling since we are a first world country. I want to fight for a national registry but I'm fading fast. I can only hope that my wishes are understood and made clear in time for possible donations. I hate being in hospital but I know that when the time comes I'll be on life support therefore able to donate. God bless this family because your impact is wide through donation and touching everyone who was in or has watched this video. Xx

I googled it if same one born march died few days before Christmas so about 8months old if its her says it was car crash. Brutal for any parents children meant to out live there parents not other way round I have personal experience from doing my family tree on my Irish grandfathers side his father lost sister month before her first birthday in 1901 of meningitis she was last born then on my grandmother's side the first born son her brother died Christmas day aged 5months from teething complications in 1914 . I Pray Alyssa is at peace and enjoying life in Heaven's Nursery rest in peace little one fly high with the Angels free from pain and suffering I'm so sorry to family for there loss may God comfort them at this awful tragic time

This is so heart wrenching for those parents mixed emotions they lost their precious baby yet on the other hand their precious baby saved lives by donating organs
This baby was the youngest person I witnesded to donate This was both heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time God bless the family and on behalf of the people receiving thank you

What a selfless act even at the darkest time in life to be strong enough to give the gift of life so other parents children have a chance at life. I am so very sorry for these parents loss but so proud that they choose to help others by donating her organs so other little children could have a chance to live and I am sure the parents of the children who received these precious gifts honor the child who died and will always remember that because of her parents donating her organs their children were given a second chance at life.
I don't know how everyone can keep it together. Those surgeons too. So many people involved. This breaks my heart.

This was incredibly hard to watch for many reasons. Alyssa was only here for a short time but she made more of her life than most do in a lifetime. My heart goes out to her parents and family who were able to make the difficult and brave decision to save the life of others through organ donation. The respect of everyone who stood strongly as the wee miracle was celebrated and honoured as she was taken into God's hands.
Eleven years ago when I was 32 my lifelong specialists gave me two years at the most to live which was realistic considering I have had all but one metre of my intestine removed over the years plus countless illnesses and complications. The hardest part was having to stop being a primary school teacher and solo foster Mum as this was my purpose. I'm still here fighting but one thing I've made clear to to my loved ones and it's also in my medical file that I want to donate anything that can help another person. I'm telling you this because in my country we have no donor registry which is appalling since we are a first world country. I want to fight for a national registry but I'm fading fast. I can only hope that my wishes are understood and made clear in time for possible donations. I hate being in hospital but I know that when the time comes I'll be on life support therefore able to donate. God bless this family because your impact is wide through donation and touching everyone who was in or has watched this video. Xx
