- After an unexpected tragedy, baby Alyssa was able to be an organ donor and save lives. To recognize Alyssa and the decision her family made, the staff at Community Regional Medical Center, Fresno held an Honor Walk, a tribute to highlight a donor hero by hospital staff who line their hallways before an organ and tissue recovery.

Do true my daughter was murdered on July 2,2021 it killed me inside she was 28 years old only .. worst day of my life seeing this parents lose their baby is agonizing painful no parents should lose a child weather the child is born prematurely or if she /he is 2 mins or 30 it doesn’t matter it hurts

They didn’t “give up their baby”. The baby had died. However, this was a loving, generous act on the part of the parents and they truly blessed other families.

I’m literally in tears my baby received a heart transplant a few days ago and this made me feel for the family of the little angel who saved my daughters life 😭 we waited 2 months my daughter is now recovering she’s almost 2 months of age 💗. This really made me sign up to donate my organs ❤️. Hopefully I can meet the donors family 💗 they are from Texas that’s all I know 🥺
They did let us know her little heart saved a baby, we always say Alyssa’s out there somewhere my cousin is from Fresno area I hope you get to meet your donors family 😭❤️

A little piece of her will live on forever. She's giving the gift of generations. The recipients will grow and marry. They will have children. The children will have children. God bless you. May she soar with angels.
My 6 year old son died on December 29, 1994 and we donated his organs. I don't know anything about the ones that received his organs but my prayer is that they got to go on and live rich, full, productive lives.
The organ donating came about because he saw the pink dot on my drivers license and asked " Mommy what's that dot for?" I explained it to him and my little man said "that's what I want too". I didn't know that in a few months I would he honoring his wish.

As a mom, this is so painful to watch. But I’ve also worked with children who have received organs and this gift is immense and beautiful. From darkness there can be light. RIP baby girl! 💔

So heart-breaking for the parents to have to lose their baby, but at least some good came out of it. Alyssa's parents decided to donate her organs to patients who needed organ transplants. Rest in peace, precious angel.

As a not only a mother, but as a human being with a heart and empathy, this broke my heart to watch, I sit here typing this is as I weep. So beautiful!! When my son died, he was an organ donor. His liver saved a 61 year old man. The man sent me a litter sending his condolences. I just couldn’t bring myself to answer. It. It’s rough as a parent.

She's so tiny in that bed this made me cry she can't be more than a month or two old what a gift she's giving to another family I'm truly sorry for her families loss
I googled it if same one born march died few days before Christmas so about 8months old if its her says it was car crash. Brutal for any parents children meant to out live there parents not other way round I have personal experience from doing my family tree on my Irish grandfathers side his father lost sister month before her first birthday in 1901 of meningitis she was last born then on my grandmother's side the first born son her brother died Christmas day aged 5months from teething complications in 1914 . I Pray Alyssa is at peace and enjoying life in Heaven's Nursery rest in peace little one fly high with the Angels free from pain and suffering I'm so sorry to family for there loss may God comfort them at this awful tragic time

Oh my goodness,I simply can’t imagine the grief these parents feel at this moment ,I’m a retired nurse,my five of my twenty year career were spent on an Oncology unit,I’ve been retired now for forty two years I still remember the names and faces of my terminally I’ll cancer patients,I never had the opportunity to be part of an honor walk ,it is I’m sure just as devastating for the Dr’s and nurses involved ,what a wonderful thing for these parents to do ,rest in heaven you precious little angel,may god bless her parents at thus tragic time .

What a selfless act even at the darkest time in life to be strong enough to give the gift of life so other parents children have a chance at life. I am so very sorry for these parents loss but so proud that they choose to help others by donating her organs so other little children could have a chance to live and I am sure the parents of the children who received these precious gifts honor the child who died and will always remember that because of her parents donating her organs their children were given a second chance at life.
