    Hey nick.
Just a few questions. I’m a beginner pilot with fewer than 50 hours. I worked at skydive fox glacier for a while so know that area only in passing.
What happens if you bomb out in one of those valleys ? Miles away from any tracks or roads? I guess you’d have to walk out. Do you have a retrieve?
Also do you carry enough food and water with you when you fly? As I’m not sure how it all works?

Yes I have always been self sufficient (I hitch, but don't call in people to rescue me). If you don't know what happens if you land there, best not fly there! ;)
Yes I always have several days more food than I need. Water it depends - plenty of it in NZ

@@sharemyjoys If the weather hadn't changed too drastically, would you just hike up a slope and try to relaunch? Rather than humping out lots of gear by foot?
Beautiful vid, btw, as usual! Cheers for these!

Today I learned New Zealand has two Wanganui Rivers!
Curious to know whether you ever managed to soar around the top of Mount Cook in a paraglider? I went gliding with Chris Streat (maybe you know him, NZ pilots tend to know each other) from Omarama a few years back and he told me he did it with a hangglider once but I guess it's a whole lot easier with those
Love your videos, keep it up!

no, but I'd love to! Some (Bryan, Rob) have flow along the east but no-one has made it around yet.
Yes I have been gliding with him as well, really helped me improve my flying. cheers
