- My first - and last? - day at the BBC offices in Nottingham, producing my very first TV series, Canal Boat Diaries (BBC Four, date TBC).
Filmed in Febuary and September 2019 on an iPhone 8 Plus, edited using Lumafusion for iPad.

Saw you were on BBC4 by chance as i have no TV. Going to my Mum's to see it recorded on hers. I was so delighted as I have always considered your filming to be first rate, and your vlog so refreshing and honest. And quite poetic at times. So glad they have recognised your worth!!

I have just stumbled on this outstanding series of programmes. I am looking forward to watching everything Robbie Cumming does. For many years I lived near the Lea and Stort Navigation and then the Oxford Canal. I now live in Stockton on Tees, soo far away from the canal system, so it will be good to be reminded on one of the UKs greatest assets.

You've got a new fan, going to start following you on RUclips and looking forward to keeping up with all your travels on the canal network and now aiming to do more walking along canal towpath as well. Just started watching your Canal Diaries on BBC 4 and I’m thrilled to have found you on here!
Great series watched 3 of them so far really great viewing love the accompanying music aswell which I think is all made by Robbie hope ur gonna keep making them Rob love seeing an England that I don’t know reckon rob needs to visit the lea valley complex of waterways bring it s but closer to home I’m sure hede enjoy the south as much as the north

Cool look into the process. A hotel room! Having lived in an RV/caravan for over 5 years, the only time I get a really hot shower, is visiting family during the holidays. Hope I can find a way to watch it. Cheers Robbie.

Be nice if you could see Media City (you probably have already lol) while you're in the area. I once did a tour of the BBC with a Cub Scouts group I was an assistant leader with. Awesome time! Even got a Blue Peter badge out of it 👍 What's not to like!
Castlefield part of Manchester is worth a potter through just to absorb the history and the views of old canal against modern architecture.
So excited to watch all of the new series when it airs. I bet it was amazing to do! Well done Sir!! Keep crankin it!

Cheers - I’ve actually had them ‘refurbished’ two years running, but they are now in tatters, zips stuck and stitching bust wide open. The new covers are amazing, cost £900 but so worth it.
Couldn't help with the covers, but the frame and/or any cosmetic repairs or painting issues, I know my onions. Anyway, looking forward to the next voyage log!!! Crank it!!!
Just watched all for episodes back to back and loved it ont iplayer will be logging in on youtube now to see what ya up too, question at the end of last episode you were at the engine end and said that's it! what happened?
