Hi. I try to follow those instructions looking for my iphone from my computer and I get the message "No location found offline" is there any setting that I need to fix?
@@ardendemand2431 Hello, I had my iphone 12pro stolen 3 days ago in Korea. However, I did a lot of research and unfortunately if your phone has the location off you will not be able to locate it. It will only show your last location. Lastly, if the phone shows offline your phone is either 1. not connected to internet or wifi. or 2. It is out of battery. Most importantly, the best option is to put your iPhone on lost mode through icloud and have it on erase mode because your phone will be locked and no one can access it. Lastly, do not remove the phone that you lost or got stolen because then the person can use your phone after factory reset. So keep your phone on lost mode and on erase mode because they will never be able to activate it. It pretty much becomes a useless phone to them. Also, if it shows pending and the person turns on your phone your phone will automatically go on activation lock!
You really didn't find it , because you knew where the phone was already... You should have tried to ping a sound or open the direction finder feature to see if it works while out of power..... so not helpful sorry....
Yeah, if I was a thief, and I was stealing phones, I would just block the signal after I stole it just put it in a signal blocking case until I did a full factory reset on it. This feature seems useless to me because instead of communicating with the tower, which I thought was happening, it communicates through another device through Bluetooth, which almost makes it useless in my opinion
@@indo3052 my 14 pro max got stolen today & that theif did that signal blocking case but as far as I know u can't use it even after factory reset as it has icloud signed in. Don't know what to do now
People being confused this option works immediately and in shot radius. Wiped devices don't send last location

File a police complaint and let them track the IMEI. Find My never works when the phone is stolen.
