Great interview. It isn't easy being on the top. Everyone is shooting at you, professionally and personally. Some honest answers to questions people have had. This past weekend doesn't mean anything. Other than if you don't have your A game and the conditions are terrible you can lose to a good team. Funny nobody talks about Ben or Catherine losing just ALW.
Great interview! Enjoyed seeing the Waters relationship off the court and the behind the scenes when it comes to travel and the RV. Always amazed at how well-spoken Anna Leigh is! Good role model for the younger ones coming into the sport.
think what is remarkable about ALW's backhand roll is also her footwork/timing. when her opponent hits a hard and sharp angle to her backhand, some of those balls it is amazing she even gets to the ball fast enough bc the ball is passing her body (both to the side and behind her in the court) but she is so frequently able to pull a winner in that situation...
This was an awesome pod probably one of the best ones yet. It was also nice that Zane didn't have to carry the pod like normal he actually took a back seat in this one. Good job boys! FYI good job at the tourney this past weekend Zane.
This was spectacular. I enjoyed every minute. Can say that I haven't been a fan of Mom's on court demeanor at times, but really got to see a new side of her and really enjoyed her, and her relationship with her daughter. Both of my daughters quit sports due to 'mean girls', and I have a little understanding of how disheartening the behaviors of others can be for a young lady. I couldn't be more impressed.

Zane, thanks for asking the questions Re AL practice regimen. I’ve been trying to convince my wife there is utility in practicing cooperative drills as well as competitive ones
Very enlightening. They seem like decent folks and kind of sad nobody on the tour likes them. Funny that ALW’s paddle is one of the most powerful ones and she thinks paddles are too powerful. This is the problem with trying to control this. All the top stars are going the power route.

How about a LW and Riley mixed team....just to give it a shot and get some play in. I know what she means about only getting practice reps and not much actual "play".
