reliability has been great (knock on would haha) ive put 1000 miles on it and ive owned it for a month so far! Before I did any mods, I made sure to do the important stuff, spark plugs, coil packs, diff service, trans service and oil service. Shes been running great since!
This was quite theraputic. I wasn't sure if I should go with the newer m340i or this 340i. Could you post a list of mods? If I were to get a 340i, I'd have it be just like this. Feels perfect just watching. Have you had any reliability issues?
go 340i man. unless you can find a steal on a m340i its the same exact car except newer with a couple tweaks to the engine. for 10-15k less you get basically the same thing. Its what i did after careful consideration. But if you have m340i money go f80 m3 1000% or f82 m4. best advice I could give with the research I have put in over the last 7 months looking for a good 340i before purchasing
@@Noah-ok7eo In the next 3-4 months I'm thinking of buying a 2020-2023 (literally can't find any 2020s) M3 competition x-drive. I've got a few BMW dealers in my area looking for the perfect spec for me. They're dropping in price a bit, so hopefully by then I can just buy it straight up! If not, I'll probably just buy the 340i and do a big turbo kit + engine build + trans buid.
@@edwinmorales2179 thats pretty expensive for the year and miles. Mines is a 2017 and I bought it with 50k miles for the same price. Depending on where you live prices will be different. Mines came from south Carolina
@@JamesDrivennI just installed the valvetronic muffler and it’s sounds so much better than stock muffler. Deaper tone while keeping the brap on upshift. Takes away the rasp and echo sound too.
I know your not asking me but I recently got mines and love it, got mines with 68k miles and 1 owner I haven't had to do anything to it yet and I used to work at a bmw dealership all the techs said this engine is pretty much bulletproof and that my car had 0 issues. I'd say go for it.

@@Lypty Get one owned by someone who cared for it and serviced it regularly, not by some doofus that just bought it to trash it for a couple of years and replace it. These cars last for 300k-400k easily if serviced regularly. Anything below 100k isn't even mechanically fully broken in yet.
