Speed Pixeling - 8-bit Spaceship

This was fun to do. I'm working on an 8-bit style video game named Dominion Dawn. In my current vision it'll become a fusion of the classic shmup & platform genres. I decided to first work on the shmup by creating this top-down spaceship. Both the spaceship & the exhaust flame have five frames of animation. In this case I think it's enough to make it look quite smooth. This took about 90 minutes to complete in real time.
Major thanks to HeartBeatHero for letting me use one of his tracks in this video. The song is called "The Resistance" and it's from the album " Shadow of the Heart" released on 2020. Give him some love.
