See, I have an Intex spa or hot tub, whatever you wanna call it. Same exact setup as yours.
However, during the cold and winter months, I move mine from our outside back deck and I actually set it back up in my garage. It's an insulated garage where it does get cold, but not nearly as cold as the outside. Plus, it keeps the tub out of the weather.
Now, when I drain the tub both inside and outside, I use a shorter garden hose and i pull that plug on the bottom. But, i also take another garden hose, like 15-20' and I just stick the one end in the tub so it's resting on the bottom and run the other end to the drain in the garage or just outside wherever. It drains from the plug, but then I siphon it from the other hose. Sometimes it's hard to get enough pressure from inhaling because it's kinda long for your breath to draw out, so I use a shop vac to get the siphon starting. It takes literally less than 30 mins to drain the entire tub. This year I used 2 hoses to siphon the water and still pulled the plug. It took literally like 15 mins to get it completely drained. Well, except that little bit that's to shallow. I just use a 5 gallon shop vac for that part.
But, it'll save you A TON of time if you pull the plug and use another garden hose or two if you have an extra one. Or, if you have an unnecessarily extremely long one hose, you can cut a section off of that and use it. It'll save you A TON of time!!

I've just bought the Intex Purespa deluxe. Pretty much the same. To deflate, you can connect the inflation/deflation hose to the air pressure relief valve (23) after pushing the valve in and turning it 90° to hold it in. You then connect the hose to the air inlet, (situated at the side of the casing), after removing the cap (28), then using the deflation hose adaptor (28).
This sucks all the air out, making it easier to collapse. 👌
