It was lovely seeing the old Atalanta Ballroom. I spend many a Friday/Saturday night there at the disco. Then caught the green bus back home to New Haw. This was from 1968 to about 1972. It's all changed there now and the ballroom long gone, very sad. The music playing was all played in the Atalanta. I love Mowtown music.

We "fellers" from Guildford used to go to the "Atalanta" dance hall every Saturday night.
Lovely place. I lived there on Shaftsbury Road and went to St Mary’s Providence School from 1956 to 1959. 😉
