  • Headed back to the Jumpinpin to try and find that big school of jewies again. It took me a little bit but got on them and persistence and changing to a slow pitch jig got the job done on these fast moving school of big jew. After the tide change the fish slowed down a little and soft plastics were able to be used again and another come on the Molix 5" fork flex soft plastic.

    Perfect example of knowing the fish are there and changing tactics to suit conditions and fish behaviour. You've got it sorted mate. Pleasure to watch as usual!

      Pe 3 Sunline castaway and 50lb fc100 leader.
      Most of the fish here are pretty good size usually, so good to use appropriate tackle imo.

    nice work finding the fish and getting them to bite as well, just wondering what water depth are you fishing and do the jewies release well from that depth? really want to get stuck into some before winter is fully over but can't be bothered livebaiting the rivers and hitting the offshore grounds often mean barotrauma which isn't desirable either as i mainly release haha. The broadwater/pin looks like a good option though...great vid man👌

    • @Peter_Herbst_Fishing
      @Peter_Herbst_Fishing  2 года назад +1

      Thanks mate!
      At the pin, they are coming from 11-14m. Release fine and eat very well too! If you bring them up too quick could cause issues but they are ok from this depth.
