Does anyone really care if the corner radius is not exactly perfectly symmetrical? This is how ridiculous the smartphone world has become. 90% of people make calls, send emails and watch content - A55 should be the top end for most!
Because symmetrical bezels look better?

@@Crabby.1 yea. people complainin about the thick bezels compared to the ugly ass redmi 13 whatever plus (but that back design, I don't like it). ,,, yea. looks pretty with small frame, but you drop it without a case, it'll crack. I have a s23 ultra and its so nice, but got a big ass armor box case. i dropped it 2 times, had I not the case, glass would have broke. so yea, people need to do comparison in real world scenario, , everyone has a case.
Yep. Wouldn't dream of using a phone without a case. Even if it lands face down on screen the case will take a lot of the impact as bits stick out further than the screen as long as surface is not uneven.
i have the a34 with drop notch camera and I didn't notice it at all, it has been my daily phone for calls, message, browsing, and watch videos. Idgaf 😂@@stephkm3655

I noticed that the camera quality isnt that far off as what he was saying. Even in low light, the A55 performs good. The only real advantage of the s24+ when it comes to camera is the zoom lense.
You can just buy a zoom lense which is 40 euro max. S24 Plus's double the price of A55 isn't justified by what it offers. Also waterproof case is 20 euro. Also A55 has 32MP front cam incomparison to 12MP all the new S24 phones lol.
I got the S24+ US version, and I love the phone best phone I have ever had.
The US version uses snapdragon but Malaysia is use exynos😅😂

Battery is very impressive on this especially if you leave it in 4g and not 5g mode. Hard to believe its 11pm and still on 62 percent! Its a 1.5 day phone. Maybe 2 at a stretch. And yeah it runs quite cool. Thats also nice.
@@paultasker7788Yes, it is. I use it all day with my galaxy watch 6 and my A55 life is alive for al day and and a little more. I was a great inversion after my A50 that had 5 years of life
*just got the a55 and its so nice, I looked into the s23 fe, but battery was not convincing after watching many reviews. I would've probably gone for the s22 ultra instead now that its getting the ai updates, but overall I'm happy with my a55*

s23 fe is crap, is not even a S23 it used the same proccessor as S22 that has terrible battery life and gets hot.
I'll stick with my Snapdragon S23+ i think!
A55 does the job
Well, just the price alone will steer people to the more affordable model. I did just that and since I can't even use 90% of what the shinier and stupidly expensive model offers, I'm extremely satisfied with buying the cheaper option. Honestly, the A55 is technically not cheap so I recommend getting it on sale.
The A55 oversharpening can be fixed by downloading camera assistant and selecting picture softening. Its then not over sharpened any more. In fact I've had some very pleasing images from it even when viewed on a 55 inch oled TV. Especially since one ui 6.1 update. Definitely the zoom and ultra wide are better on s24 though. I only use them occasionally on A55. The zoom is nice to have but still comes up poorly when compared to taking a dedicated camera along with me. Even a 1 inch sensor compact. It's interesting to see the size comparison because in the past I've avoided 6.7 or 6.8 inch phones but I've been buying something that is actually bigger due to the bezels! That means a used ultra isn't out of the question next time. No way I'm paying anywhere near new price for one but 1 or 2 years old looks very tempting. A55 battery will likely be better for lighter use but i suspect the s24+ will beat it if you do more intensive stuff. It's unusual at this time of night to still be sat at 66 percent which my A55 is currently on (im used to more like 20 percent). Thats after a full day off charge and 2.5 hours of screen on time. Even with 4 it's on about 50 percent. I did manage to flatten it using it for a few photos and short videos in a concert and using it to navigate me there in a convertible with the roof down in bright sunlight one way! About 3.5 hours at max brightness with gps on. Thats a pretty extreme scenario though.

I had the s24 plus and really enjoyed the QHD screen but that was it! My biggest disappointment was the weak tinny speakers so out went my s24 plus and I am so impressed with the a55. It has a premium build, good screen, adequate cameras and joy of joys the speakers are fantastic. So glad I swapped and saved some £ to boot
The A55 is not even close, the S24+ Snapdragon version is much more powerful, faster, with better screen frames, 12GB of RAM, more resolution, better modem, wireless charging, 45W charging, fast fingerprint sensor, Samsung Dex, AI ,
Better cameras, telephoto lens, lighter, etc.
The S24 series has a bug for sound. If the equalizer is on anything but "normal" the max sound level decreases. On "normal" and music sounds flat. It's why I don't use Samsung music on my S24+. I use the AIMP app which has a built-in equalizer for stored music. I trade-in my S23fe for the S24+ and instantly noticed a sound issue.
Yeah your right the speakers are not good at all on the s24 plus .
@@3lectronic0 I suppose it depends on what you use your phone for. I had s23 plus but never used half the things you've listed. My s24 plus was exynos and battery wasn't too good either, speakers are important to me so I'm enjoying my a55, don't need the bells and whistles

I have a iphone 15 pro max! I don't use ultra wide that much! Hardly use it! But i find it really surprising and shocked that reviewer comparing a dedicated zoom lense of S24 + to a digital crop of A55, this is not justified! If you really wanna bring difference then compare the main lense strictly not zoom! I am looking for A55 as my secondary device and thee pictures currently taken from A55 is really workable! I think a good photographer with editing can make a good use of A55's camera
What u said about displays isn't true. If you take an older samsung flagship and put it next to the a55, the a55 looks dull

At the current pricing I can get 3 galaxy A55 on the price of 1 galaxy s24+ so. I don't think so flagship is worth that much money.

Been using it for 2months now. Havent noticed any sort of lag or stutter whatsoever. Its smooth as butter. Maybe the difference is noticable when youre heavy gaming and watching video in a split screen but idk a lot of people who does that
The phone is getting extremely hot when gaming. Other than that, a55 is good

@@bignoob2726 unless they play genshin impact on high graphics i dont see any problems. Also theres not a lot of mobile games that have insane GPU requirements. Most people who play games on smartphone play simple games at most pubg. And pubg runs fine.
Heavy gaming on mobile is just wierd anyways. People usually invest for decent pc or console for that kind of stuff.
