Two of my best friends got married today. This was the song that played during their first dance as a married couple. I doubt you read the comments to this video anymore, numerous as they are and old as this video is these days. But regardless, I just wanted to say thank you for making such a touching and romantic song that will now be part of a special memory for me.

This song is so bittersweet for me. My best friend and I were roommates and she said I sang this in my sleep. This was the first song I learned on guitar and ukulele and I played it incessantly. So much that I made a parody and wrote a song with the same chord progression. Also so much so that the aforementioned best friend was like STAHP. Very good memories of music and my dearly departed friend

Why are there so many other "pop stars" admired when there are amazingly talented singers/songwriters like this?
K first of all, Bruno Mars is amazing. Second, other pop stars are lucky. They just happened to be at the right place at the right time with the right people, who ended up making them famous.

bruno mars by the way, wanted to sing but at first he didnt get the chance so he enter to the music business writing song for other, then producing other and when he made a name for himself he recorded his own disc with the help of the other musicians he produced, so he wasnt at the right place at the right time he worked for it. ;)

How many times have I watched this and when did I favorite it? It's been so long.
I remember the first time I watched it, I was drunk and so in love. Maybe 2009. It just reminded me so much of him. I watched this video dozens of times wishing I could sing it to him, but I never showed it to him.
We parted ways, on good terms and are still friends, West Coast East Coast friends I guess. But watching this now brings me back so many years when we were head over heels. We are both happy now also, thankfully.

It's been more than a decade since I had sang or thought of this song. I used to sing it to my daughter every night after I came home from Iraq. The last time I saw this was a year or two ago, and I can remember countless times when I just started humming this song, and many times I just look at the N64 cartridge on the floor, then back at my homework, thinking of the happy times when I could just play Mario Kart with myself, on the floor, being able to look at our TV and thinking it was huge, wasting hours upon hours playing the game, mastering tracks, finding strategies and ignoring everything else, having no worries.
