    Everyone acts like this was a simple thing where Zac asked you to ride this bike out of the blue.....COUDLNT BE FURTHER from the truth!! Go watch his content....he has this "phantom" shifting issue, where when he is hammering the bike it misses a shift. He has bruoght the bike to zac half a dozen times and made at least a dozen video's slamming Zac and slamming Sills BMW. He has logged complaints with BMW corporate...and this is all BEFORE 650Ib rode his bike. They simply want the bike fixed and him out of their hair. NO ONE ELSE, but this kid can make the bike do what he is saying is happening, hence why Zac asked Ib to ride the thing I would assume. He has taken SO MUCH of Zacs time. Everyone seems to think its illegal for a dealership to do this....its ABSOLUTELY NOT. Yes, they are liable if the bike gets damaged, but when you sign the work order you are giving them permission to do whatever they need to in order to diagnose your problem. This happens ALL THE TIME, where someone outside a dealership is brought in to diagnose issues or to do specialized work on a vehicle.....yeah, its not usually one of thier customers, but this kid was putting them in a horrible position and they simply want the bike fixed. I stated on his channel that REALISTICALLY, SILLS SHOULD HAVE SIMPLY REFUSED TO WORK ON HIS BIKE ANYMORE and sent him packing. There is NOTHING saying that Sills HAS TO FIX his bike. Its a warranty issue (supposedly) so they would be fully in their rights to tell him to take his business elsewhere.....which I TRULY HOPE THEY DO!!! If anything he is upset because now when he says its still happening, Zax is able to say that a guy who has owned like 20 of these exact bikes, who we all know, cant make it happen, so its happening because of an error between teh seat and the bars....he no longer has credibility.

      @@650ib My feelings are that he WOULDNT want to let you ride the bike, as then he can continue to say the bike has issues... as if anyone with any credibility and is not affiliated with the dealership rides the bike and cant make the issue happen then it points to him as being the problem.....he WANTS the problem to continue so he can continue to make content. Sills simply needs to shut him down and tell him to take his business elsewhere...then he can put it out there how they arent taking care of thier customers...but at least its DONE....and SIlls can counter and say they went above and beyond expectations but that it is apparent that he will NEVER be satisfied. THey should have done this the second time he came in and produced content that slagged them....he used thier reputation to create this mess so he could get views....and now they and you are left holding the bag for doing the right thing. I fyou called him to ask permission and he said no, then you can bet that the bike would still supposedly be broken and he would be putting out content slagging them for wanting you to ride it and he would continue pushing this nonsense about how bad they are.

    Idk about this one IB…. The dealership is at fault for giving you a customers bike and the least they could’ve done was call him before they handed you the bike. I’m aware of how much of an experienced rider you are and if anything happened while testing the bike you would’ve definitely covered it… the least the dealership could do is apologise to you for putting you in this position and apologise to the guy as well for not contacting him before giving you the bike
    I may be wrong but I think you’re taking the stance you’re taking because you don’t wanna throw Sill’s under the bus which is fair considering you guys have been business partners for years and years

      I just don't think Sills did anything wrong here. Zak worked on his bike all day and just wanted to me to confirm it was fixed. I'm sure they didn't charge him for all the time Zak spend on the bike. I will say this, had ThoughtTaken called and visited Sills and expressed his 'anger' with the situation, everyone would have apologized to him. But since he decided to produce content on all platforms slamming Sills, that wasn't nice at all.

Be careful of creating a generational divide in your viewers young folks opinions have weight too. 2) Seeing both sides and opinions, I think it was unsatisfactory for the dealer to let anyone outside of their employment to operate a customers bike. That’s the issue being taken because it VIOLATES TRUST and that’s what most of the chatter is about from young and old alike. It’s palpable to anyone wanting to have something unique. 3) I’m not a subscriber to his channel but from what I read your comment was a bit out of pocket and honestly not what I’d expect from an older or mature person. It seemed innocent and if it was I’d take the high road which older folks preach about and just say sorry for your part. Lots of content and views from this for both of you. A lot to address in this video, but I wanted to address 5:00 directly. You're wrong, I had a lot of genuine anger that Sill's asked you to take the S1k out without going through me first. Back in 2019, my first bike cost me $2300. The fact I have the opportunity to own the bikes I have these days is nothing but a blessing, but to be able to buy an S1k at 22 required a lot of work. That bike is a representation of that work, and to have it not only lay broken for a good chunk of the season, but then ridden by others without my explicit permission is like a slap in the face.
    I said in my original video that I had no anger towards you, I probably would've done the same thing in your position given that the burden of responsibility fell upon the dealer, not you. But I think your reaction to a few comments from my fans who didn't understand my video, are a shame.

    He is not mad because you rode his bike. He even said in the video he has nothing against you or any complaints towards you. He was mad about the fact that he brought his bike to the dealership to fix it, and they let someone who is not part of the mechanics staff ride it.
    With all the respect to you, it's extremely unprofessional for the dealership to do such a thing no matter who you are and how knowledgeable you are; you are still not part of the staff; they have no business asking or using you to diagnose the issue.

    Not that it's morally wrong or right or anything; but from a purely business perspective; when you, brotha 650iB, are able to not lift a single forceful finger and psychologically have people create video content on YOU, I would say that this is like creating a mental 'rent free' environment whereas YOU are living inside of the heads of people, who are willing to give your channel FREE advertising, while, at the same time, YOU are living inside of their heads 'RENT FREE'....lol...lol....If that's not a display of intellectual power(regardless if people view it negatively or positively), then nothing is...haha..On the other hand, 9 out of 10 young people, who are between the ages of 8 and 25 years of age, are not and were not raised correctly by their parents(especially when the parents give authority to Jerry Springer and Tik Tok), have ZERO 'social tact', no respect for positive authority figures, no class, big mouthes to speak with while nothing's coming out of them, limited life experiences other than what they view on tik tok, and everything in between. Brotha iB, keep making that money, keep running a clean channel; because at the end of the day nobody can stop you from success. "Their" view of YOU won't influence your financial success, youtube success or any other success. Humm.... let me preface this comment that I am not extending ANY hate whatsoever but maybe some clarity and perspective. I'm not a 13 year old boy but I do follow him. I'm a 60 year old Harley girl. I am small and Harleys are big and heavy. So I have followed a lot of sport bikers because I have been thinking that a lighter smaller bike would be something I might try for my first bike. I have not been able to afford a bike and a car until maybe next year. So I have been following a lot of sport bikers over the last few years. Let's analyze this. Initially he wasn't even mad at you. But the disrespect and deceit from the dealership started to sink in. He deserved the courtesy TO BE ASKED FOR HIS PERMISSION from them and or you. The liability that this put him at is an issue. If anything would have happened he could have been sued. He would be the first to be sued because the bike is insured under his name. Yea I know, you would never wreck or hurt anyone. That's exactly what over a dozen people I know who have died, crashed and/or killed people on motorcycles and cars thought. My ex mechanic paralyzed a 16 year old girl from the neck and he couldn't believe why they were suing him.😮 The disrespect, the liability and the deceit are all major issues in this situation. For future reference always get permission from the owner. Unless you're getting paid to consult mechanical problems for them the dealership is in no place to ask you to hop somebody else's bike. It's not what the dealership thought of your it's what Mr. Woods thought of you that matters. His bike his permission. Were you ever going to tell him? He has a right to be upset with everyone involved. His bike his permission. Come on now. Let's say if all the male bikers here went through the same except it was a woman who hopped on their bike it would be the end of creation. Come on you can't just take somebody's bike out without their knowledge. We all know this.

    • @650ib
      @650ib  7 часов назад

      Thanks for your comment. In Ohio, he would not be liable AT ALL if I crashed, damaged or killed people while I was test riding his bike. He's offered to let me ride his bike on other occasions. We're both Social Media Influencer for Rahal Ducati Cleveland and have ridden their bikes. If my bike was at Ducati Cleveland and he wanted to ride it... Guess what, nobody would have to call me for permission and I'd almost feel like they're wasting my time if they did. Also, in 'real life' he's laughing about this and all of the attention he's getting as well as the $10,000+ he's earned for the content related to this incident on all platforms.

    • @kimberlyquintanilla5493
      @kimberlyquintanilla5493 6 часов назад

      Really so ...limits on liability mean nothing in Ohio. I don't think those limits are zero. I've been in a court case to determine fault and liability in a bodily injury against the government. And yes we awarded a government worker a settlement. Definitely the owner can be sued even in Ohio. If you were both ok with it that's all good. But he clearly voiced he was upset about not being asked. Of course he made money from posting. These social media platforms NEED people to make content to monetize or they make less money themselves. It's a symbiotic relationship. Without monetization the talent won't show up in the numbers they need. Social media moguls make millions and billions of dollars. They depend on their top earners. They definitely should pay content creators more. No shame in the money game. Why should Mark Zuckerberg make billions off of other people's content and not pay. Social media is a form of entertainment and educational material. It's like any other form of entertainment. Would you write a book or act in a movie and just tell the publisher and producers "Nah you keep all the profits. It's my work but I don't deserve my piece of the pie.". Most people don't realize this. Monetization on these platforms is meager and should be elevated. It's the same concept of any other job. Social media is a job. Would you work at McD's for free? Hell no. People aren't thinking right when it comes to getting paid on social media. It is a billion dollar industry. Virtue signalling "Oh I don't make money on my channel" is useless. People trying to wear that like a badge.😂😂 Platforms realize that creators allowed to monetize in some way is good for their business model. They just want you to accept minimum wage standards while they keep most of the money. Cut the stigma on monetization. There's a lot would be creators with so much potential but can't do it full time because they are working other jobs. That is a shame.

      @@kimberlyquintanilla5493 I agree with you, If I would have crashed, hurt or killed someone while riding his bike, there's law firms and lawyers out there that would try to sue everyone involved for money. It's a simple risk assessment we made while riding his bike, what are the chances of any of that happening while I rode his bike up and down the freshly paved roadway? I have no issue with content creaters getting paid but when they slam other businesses in the process and make those businesses lose revenue, subscribers and reputational standing, that's obviously not good.

What if Ib found a real problem? He didn't. At the end of the day the question is simple and easy .WHO BENEFITS. This Mathew guy is shitting on people that tried to help and have taken the wind out of his sails with regards to his mechanical issue. In doing so on his social media he's doing it for views not to solve a problem. He gets paid for views. Ask yourself, would you care if it was Mark Marquez instead of ib? I doubt it. He says it’s the principle but a moto gp rider is no more an employee of Sill’s either. I think the customer have to be ok with the decision of the dealership. Last, if the said test rider was caught hot dogging on the customers bike, I’d strongly understand the complaint. It’s a trust and integrity issue here. With all that said, the customer has the right to question why a non employee is out riding his bike. But come on man, it’s ib!!! 😃👏👏👏

A simple call would have solved the issue and that’s what I think the bottom line the original owner was trying to make. iB you are the most generous person with your machines but unfortunately others don’t have your same heart and generous nature. Again don’t let this make you loose any sleep. Not the end of the world and your name will never be tarnished. 😉god speed brother. Hope to see you at the track one day.

    From what I’m taking in, it’s not 650ib’s fault, it lies with the dealership. If I dropped my bike off and the Duc dealer had anyone but a member of the staff test it, I’d be chapped. Even if the dealer had Casey Stoner himself test my bike, unless I approved it that decision by the dealer would not sit well with me. Dealerships should carry what’s called Garage Keepers coverage. That coverage only covers the dealership. While 650ib may carry extensive coverage, if I’m leaving my bike at the dealer, I am left with the understanding that only dealership team members will be operating my bike. Dealer is in the wrong.

    Could go both ways, without context yeah it’s wrong, but it is 650 ib. Does that make it right? No, but Obviously the guy is covered fully for any financial loss. The dealership made a calculated decision. It wasn’t anyone “random”. It was someone with close tie with the dealership who at the same time would put his own name on the line if something were to happen and didn’t make it right. Is thought taken gonna take his business elsewhere? Is all this a setup? Will they do a collab now in the future for more views? It’s probably even more petty for viewers to be up in arms over something or someone else’s life outside our control. If this is real drama I’m getting a sense it’s because he was not involved with making a collab video to start and feels like his ego wasn’t stroked. The dealership wasn’t promoting the incident but relied on ib to help solve a problem. Could be lessons learned on all sides, creators and viewers alike.
