one of the greatest bouts of all time without a doubt, definitely my favourite story. I'll re-watch through all the press all the build up to the fight and after regularly. These are the fights that made me a boxing fan
So basically Benns camp did everything they could to unsettle Eubank because of their own ineptitude and then still lost . Eubank was always better than Benn
I actually was thinking the same, as a fan of Benn I often wonder during his fight with Gerald Mac clennan was his on the juice?? His fake collapse after leaving the ring would make one wonder??
Nigel Benn was the most exciting British fighter ever. Bob Arum called him the British Marvin Hagler because just like Hagler he was a destruction and destroy animal of a fighter. Loved his big fight with Watson in 89 and with Iran Barkley and Chris Eubanks in 1990. Benn really showed his Gladitorial heart when he fought Gerald MacCllen in 95🥊
I agree. Although I would say that Calzaghe was the generation after Eubank and Benn. Yes he fought Eubank but Eubank was at the end of his career then. Benn, Eubank, Collins and Michael Watson were of the same generation. I never knew that Collins fought Mike McCallum either.
When Benn was emotionally detached and had no feelings of hate towards his opponent, real hate like towards Eubank, he fought so much better. Like against DeWitt and Barkley. He was brilliant in those 2 fights. Galvano as well.
Chris Jr said I'm going to grow up and be great better than dad well Chris Jr were waiting sanders took you to school and beefy knocked you the F out trying to look and fight like Roy Jones got to remember your dad was one of a kind and talent like Roy Jones only comes around maybe once in a lifetime
Wow!!! Nigel’s team admitted they considered giving him a illegal drug and then have his manager take the urine test for him after the fight. Wow!!!! Yeh Conor Benn is defo innocent!!!
Big fan of both boxes but cant believe how many times Eubank missed his target. Refer fans to the great Sugar Ray Robinson and Ray Leonard for best of the best boxing skills.
Honestly benn took the fight to eubank, now I might be bias coz benn is from da manor but I just loved his style dont 4get benn fought the best and biggest names in u.s.a I.e Iran barkley (round 1 tko) Doug de Witt to win title (over in America) eubank fought mainly in Britain, dont get me wrong eubank is a living legend but look at the fight against mcclellan that benn had godbless gerald by the way but anyway what an era of British boxers and to think I grew watching these on normal t.v! (The big fight) oh man and the intro music! Those are the days my bro
Eubank would agree 'even with the point deducted for a low blow' Benn should have been given the decision', his words. There should have been a rubber match
@mrkipling2201 benn may of won this fight if he'd kept control of his weight. I thought he won the 2nd fight when he was better prepared. At the end of the day it's benns fault. It's his job to check his weight. Great fight though and a great era for British boxing.
Absolutely a fantastic documentary, absolutely and thank you very much Nigel
and Chris. Nigel
you are my favourite British boxer of all time !!
What a classic era for boxing
When the best fought the best.
There were the best of the best. Legends and warriors.
Superb content.......all the best from Scotland 😊
Many thanks 🏴
Let's have some parliamentary procedure here.
(scoffs) "Aw, God". :)

“We’ll give our guy an artificial stimulant , then I’ll take the urine test” - Benn’s trainer
I'm so glad i was able to watch all the great fights they had back then. Along with Michael Watson.
So basically Benns camp did everything they could to unsettle Eubank because of their own ineptitude and then still lost . Eubank was always better than Benn
Those were the days. What a total classic old school British boxing feud
Remember watching this when it came out in the late 90s in the days before RUclips and mobile phones.
For free on your regional ITV channel!
The funniest part was Frank and Don being annoyed with Bazza for exploiting a loophole in a contract ! Like they wouldn't have ! 😂
Why wait till 3 hours before checking your weight ? Surely, you would check it 24 or 36 hours before, to see if you're ok !
Anyone know what the music is in the background of the fight?
After benns son getting caught taking Peds and nigels defence of it, I now realise he was upto the same thing all those years ago
I actually was thinking the same, as a fan of Benn I often wonder during his fight with Gerald Mac clennan was his on the juice?? His fake collapse after leaving the ring would make one wonder??
@@Keith-ui4tpI think your right,, benn said it was exhaustan,, but prior to the calapse,, he was jumping all over the place.
Every dad defends his son
What is said between them we don't know but there's zero evidence Benn took anything to cheat
heard of adrenaline 🤔
The era of boxing when the best had to fight the best. Fury and Warren take note
Two of the greatest showman in boxing. Awesome.
This is the boxing I watched (free) on TV growing up. A golden era.

Benn put me off having a tattoo as he didn't have his back one shaded in as it hurt too much. If it hurts for Benn, I've no chance!
What's the song at the beginning people?
aww man...I used to love watching Eubank/Benn/Collins/Calzaghe.....
Great boxers🥊

@@mrkipling2201 Good point 👍
@@mrkipling2201eubank was way past his best would have been good to see I still think calzaghe would beat him and eubank was my fav as a kid
@fthegoverment it's certainly possible.
“A lot of internal damage”! The public never comprehends what they go through! Pee blood for days? Wow!
It's not a tickling contest!
I can't watch the 2nd Eubank v Watson fight. It's just too tragic.
I remember watching it. Was so sad.
@@loftlegacyThankfully Michael Watson, has come on leaps and bounds,, hes in great form, and may it continue.
@@mauriceosullivan6832I totally agree with you

"The greatest thing we'd seen since the war." Slight exaggeration there.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
That’s sports commentators for you!
Despite Eubank's eccentricities, he was the true boxer. Nigel let his rival get to him personally and shouldn't have.
What an era of boxing.
Chris Sr was a real warrior. I do remember him saying years ago that he doesn’t want his young son, Chris Jr, to be a boxer.
Wstsin was a really good fighter too
Wow!!! Nigel’s team admitted they considered giving him a illegal drug and then have his manager take the urine test for him after the fight. Wow!!!! Yeh Conor Benn is defo innocent!!!
Remember it well
Great fighter's
@9.25 Nadeem Hamed in the audience looking shell shocked, and later falsely claiming Eubank stole his vaulting ring entrance
I loved benn.. but 6 pounds over before the weigh in. So unprofessional.. he didnt deserve the win..
Talk about flogging a dead horse 💤💤💤
Big fan of both boxes but cant believe how many times Eubank missed his target. Refer fans to the great Sugar Ray Robinson and Ray Leonard for best of the best boxing skills.
Benn was robbed in 2nd fight 100 any1 agree?😮
No way I never thought that but I'm going to have another look

Boxing at its best. Not like the shit nowadays.
It was a golden era
I get irritated every time I hear Don King bloviating.
The Golden age of British boxing
Tyson fury runs the show now tho
Would of been interesting if benn didnt have to lose all that weight on the day of the fight. Must of taken so much out of him.
Agreed. I never knew he'd had to do that.

@Accyboom I totally agree with you.
The only thing that would make this documentary better ... would be a little more parliamentary procedure.
Then it'd be perfect.
i am an east ender who did not like eubanks but hes right he won me round
Type in
Little Prince Big Fight - Naz before the Barrera Fight
Before he turned in to a Human TELETUBBIE......😆😆😆
He did pile it on!
Nigel Benn thinks Steve Davis is a Football player....
He said Steve Davis was put on Earth to pot balls!
Watching the second fight I knew benn had won was cheering and then the its a draw, benn was robbed.
A GEM
Where did you find this???
Old VHS tape recorded off the telly about 25 years ago.
In reality it was very sloppy
😂😂😂😂😂 stick to fighting and not gobing off molly
Both thieves, later glorified
Not as bad as glorifying Tyson the convicted rapist
