I like this video because I don’t often get to see what the car looks like at night. On the last part where the proximity warning sound comes on, I finally found a way to turn it off (far button on the dash).
Great presentation. Hyundai should really need to view your recommendations. Find some of the buttons that are not lit can be a safety hazzard . Great presentation 👏
This car, in spite of missing some lumination in places it is still amazing to me. Do you find you are able to work around the missing lights after owning this car for a while?
I ordered one 6 months ago and still have 3 months until it arrives but of all the videos, your series beats everything I've seen in terms of quality of video, editing and content. This vid is my favourite! BTW, I love the glowing hand. Keep it up dude!

It seems to me the high beams are quite narrow. Is that a video illusion or are they really that narrow? Are they sufficient on bendy roads since there isn't any cornering lights either?

One of the coolest looking EV on the market 😎 American version taillights are much cooler than European ones (where I'm from) in here rear turn signals are amber and only on lower portion of taillights. Why would you like the American taillights better than the Euro ones? Red turn signals, especially ones that are just flashing brake lights, are monumentally stupid and need to cease to exist
Great review, but I have to disagree about high beams. Those are weak and narrow compared e.g. Model 3's (passive) Matrix lights. Sometimes it's even hard to see if the high beams are switched on.
I own both ionic 5 and 6. The ionic 6 is a better driver in every way. Same platform but the 5 drives like an under sprung land yacht. The ionic 6 is taught and handles much much better than the 5. And in the same trim level the 6 gets a lot better range over the 5.
I honestly could do without the mustache light. I know it's unique but I feel like it's a little too busy around there. I rather trade that for some fog lights instead as I feel like this needs some. Looks like there isn't even a place to add fog lights on either. Also the running lights should've amber instead of white. That would've been so nice.
Just seeing 4:10 - the combo red tail lights - turned me off the Ioniq 5 completely - it was a close match between that and the Kia EV6, which uses amber in the rear. The Ioniq 5 has amber signals in EU version. There's no reason we couldn't have had that here too.
sorry but this is not Ioniq 5 which can a normal people can buy! its the full full most expensive version, so this video is not worth anything. Test the normal Ioniq 5 the lowest spec. version. That has no such light, just awful hardly can show the road more than 10-20 m!!

Put the interior trunk light with white led because it looks much more and better. Also change the led lights of the parasols for white ones...

I have an EV6 GTL 2 until my I5 arrives. The ambient interior lighting is quite a bit nicer in the EV6.

I was surprised to see the glove box is the conventional drop down type whereas mine is a pull out draw.

Matrix headlights are not legal in USA.
How did you order this car? Is that possible?
A Dealership should be able to order one. It may be several months before you get it though. It will most likely be a 2023 model.

I agree, the Ioniq 6 is a work of art and the range is crazy good.

The high beam is really bad. Spread is bad and power is bad. Luckily there are some powerful but small ledbars available :)
Let me know how they affect the range when you install them.
@@MikesCarInfo the consumption is usually around 60-120W and its not on all the time. Affect on air resistance is not notable.
