    In this video, we'll be exploring the Hidden Power Four Face Buddha in Bangkok Erawan Shrine. This statue is a popular tourist destination and is known for its amazing statuary.
    If you're traveling to Bangkok and want to see some incredible statuary, then be sure to check out the Hidden Power Four Face Buddha at the Erawan Shrine. This statue is a beautiful example of Thai statuary and is a popular tourist destination.
    The Erawan Shrine in Bangkok features a statue of the Hindu deity Brahma, not a "four-face Buddha." Brahma is depicted with four faces, each facing a cardinal direction, symbolizing omniscience. It's a place of worship and a popular tourist attraction in Thailand.
    To pay respects or offer prayers at the Erawan Shrine in Bangkok, where the statue of the four-faced Brahma is located, you can follow these general steps:
    1. *Approach with Respect:* Approach the shrine with humility and respect. It's important to remember that the Erawan Shrine is a religious site for locals.
    2. *Purchase Offerings:* Typically, you can buy offerings like flowers, fruits, or incense from nearby vendors. These offerings symbolize your reverence and sincerity.
    3. *Light Incense Sticks:* If you have purchased incense, light them. This act is seen as a way to purify the surroundings and make an offering to the deity.
    4. *Place Offerings:* Arrange your offerings at the designated areas around the shrine. Many people place their offerings on the altar or in a specific area set aside for this purpose.
    5. *Pray Silently:* Stand or kneel respectfully in front of the shrine. You can close your eyes and offer your prayers silently, expressing your thoughts or wishes.
    6. *Make a Donation:* It's common to make a donation in the donation box near the shrine. This helps support the upkeep of the shrine.
    7. *Show Gratitude:* After your prayers, it's a good practice to bow as a sign of respect and gratitude.
    Remember that practices may vary, and it's essential to be mindful of local customs. If you're uncertain, observing others or asking for guidance is acceptable.
    If you're in Bangkok and want to see a beautiful statue that's not often seen by tourists, then check out the Hidden Power Four Face Buddha at the Erawan Shrine. This statue is a popular pilgrimage site for Buddhists, and it's easy to miss if you don't know where to look!

    When I was in a temple in Thailand, I bought a four face Buddha necklace from the temple and was told to make wishes before giving it to the monk to do some chants over it. I wished to do good in school, healthy family, and other but I also wished for my boyfriend to stay in my future forever. But a few months later we are no longer together. Could this be the four face Buddha showing me that we are not a good match for the future?

    • @TheCottonChannel
      @TheCottonChannel  2 месяца назад +1

      Maybe you are right. Maybe he help you get out of a bad future outcome. Or maybe its just that fate has ended. In Buddhism, we believe in Fate. If its meant to be, its meant to be.

      sometimes you love the person very much, but fate has ended and you have to say goodbye. or you are unhappy in a relationship but no matter how hard you try to run away, you are still in that relationship, that could mean that fate has not ended yet. Dont be sad and accept life as it is. Who knows you will meet the perfect someone someday and live happily ever after.

      I think if the religious view is very different then it could be hard to work out. Unless if you both is ok with whatever believe you have yourself. if you are meant to be, not matter how many years, you will still end up together again. But if not, you are just not meant to be together. Hope you meet your soulmate soon.

    I heard diff faces means diff things. And the wish you make have to be related to the side of the face. E.g if first side is work, you only can wish for work related. Is it true?

    • @TheCottonChannel
      @TheCottonChannel  2 месяца назад

      Common Chinese Myth. A few of my friends actually made wishes without following any of the actual way and got their wish fulfilled. They didnt even know they have to come back when their wish was fulfilled. So, if you are sincere enough with a kind heart. Perhaps Lord Brahma will grant your wishes no matter how you Pray.

      I know its not a Buddha, Its Brahma. The thing is, its called the Four Face Buddha in South East Asia. You can google the word Four Face Buddha and you will understand. In Thailand its called Phra Phrom, in chinese, its called Four Face Buddha and is very popular in Eastern and South East Asia with this name. Believe it or not, the people here dont even know its actually Lord Brahma and many chinese dont know the difference between devas, Buddhas and bodhisatvas.

      It’s a Thai folklore god that is also used in hinduism as Brahma, the creator. In Thailand he is called phra phrom, and four face Buddha is just a bad translation from the Chinese, this shrine was placed for prayers so that the *erawan hotel* could be safe during construction.

      @@TheCottonChannel the Chinese are more well-versed in Mahayana Buddhism, meaning that they don’t know what devas are, they don’t know what a Buddha defines, and they don’t know what bodhisattva means.
