I think Thunder and Shadow is, by far, the darkest Warrior Cats book (-: a lot of gruesome stuff happens, but overall
this new arc is so good guys. WE ALL KNOW WARRIORS SHOULD'VE ENDED BY OMEN OF THE STARS but trust me, this arc is going places!
Dawnpelt in this new book goes through a loooooot of crap, A LOT. And I just wanted to do a SIMV (still image music video)
about that. We all hated her from accussing Jayfeather a murderer without proof but her character developtment is so good
and I think she might become one of my favorites.

Dawnpelt's Choice was choosing between her parents and the only sibling she has left(Tigerstar 4) and her traitorous kits(Except Strikestone)
Strikestone is not a traitor, his siblings yes him no.

Dawnpelt is so underrated
I feel so bad for Dawnpelt. First her brother drowns and she gets manipulated into joining the dark forest. Then her all her kits are assholes (apart from my boy strikestone). Then sleek paw and juniper paw join the rogues. Then legit everyone in the clan attacks her ill father for being a bad leader. Then her mate ( Crowfrost who is deputy) gets ill. Onestar then condemns Shadowclan to die. Then as her mate is on his death bed scorchfur attacks him for doing the right thing and letting twigpaw go. But even after all of that Dawnpelt never made a fuss. Then the whole clan turns against rows star and makes Darktail ( a rogue ) the leader of Shadowclan. When her injured father, mother and brother leave to join Thunderclan she is about to join them when her flipping kits guilt tripp her into staying with the rogues. She had to choice between her family and kits. She chooses her traitorous kits. After a while she does what is right and leave then rogues only to be drowned by her own daughter and Darktail.
I mean she had it worse then Bluestar

This video is 1000 times sadder now that i've read Shattered Sky omg poor Dawnpelt. Q-Q
Oh, this is amazing! Dawnpelt’s character was so underrated in the earlier books, and later on, everyone hated her because she was blaming Jayfeather for Flametail’s death. Now, I feel so bad and I pity her. Sleekwhisker and Juniperclaw don’t deserve Dawnpelt to be their mother. And when Crowfrost died, I felt like Dawnpelt was going to be depressed. She sort of was, but I felt like Dawnpelt and Crowfrost were the best pairing, although he was a bit disrespectful and rude to his kits, he had always loved them and Dawnpelt At least Strikestone’s loyal to his clan and mother. He’s a good kid.

Yes, I hate Juniperclaw. When he was an apprentice, he agreed on joining The Kin because of some fake rumor. When they beckoned him to change his mind, he declined, and only rejoined ShadowClan because of desperation. He’s a traitor. So is Sleekwhisker.

Thunder and Shadow is definitely one of my favorite Warriors books. It was so dark and I didn't expect a lot of what happened. I felt so bad for Dawnpelt and I was devastated when Crowfrost died. He grew to be one of my favorite warriors due to a Fanfiction called Dawn Frost (which I totally recommend reading btw)

God, Dawnpelt is SO underrated. I love her so much, and her descision between Shadowclan and her kits was heartbreaking to read. You could tell she was going through so much, her clan, her kits, everything gone? How much sorrow she must feel. I love her, like I said and I'm sad she is so little talked about in the fandom. She's a lovely mom, warrior, and cat in general.

*SPOILERS FOR SHATTERED SKY!* Sleekwhisker is a traitor, to her mother, to her siblings, and to the clans. She choose to be a horrible cat and she didn't show any remorse when attacking her family and friends. To me, I think she deserves to go to the Dark Forest, and I think she is when she dies or if she died already
She doesn't believe in StarClan so if she is dead/ dies she will go poof into the world of forgotten.. XD
This is wonderful. I haven’t read all of the books yet due to some issues in my area (they aren’t “out” yet despite everyone already finished) So far, my impression of most people are absolutely astounded.
ShadowClans initial cruelty that lead to this (arguing over prey just to share it, as noticed by Twigpaw) and the overall separation between the two sisters was scary in a way it was so accurate. The fact that Violetpaw wasn’t phased that her foster mother never called for her. That no one ever did. Needletail was manipulative, and left me in shivers. Her apparent “vulnerability” to guilt Violetpaw into belonging, despite everything.
Bramblestar is my least favorite in the entire series. I hate how he gives up so easily, and seems so defeated all of the time. I understand that there’s his own thoughts “I’m not Firestar” but he’s still bending over backwards. He’s a spineless fool in the series. And Dawnpelt?
God, I absolutely love her arc- and the way you portrayed her. Someone eaten by anger to avenge her brother, to a loving mother. Once her mate dies, she has no one but her kits. There’s almost a fear in the way she steps, afraid to loose them, and aware of the cruelty. They also lure her with this, them too manipulating them. This series.. oh, god.

I'm crying, this is the only Warriors book i haven't read, but I'm crying. I hated Dawnpelt, but i don't think she deserves this. **sobs hysterically in the corner of a dark room** I'm waiting for Thunder And Shadow to come out in Hardback (6th of October)
Just knowing that sleekwhisker drowned her own mother for Darktail really shows what type of cat she is. She’s horrible for that. I hate her so much for that.

Just the fact that she had to choose between her parents and her children (and the fact that it most likely killed her) is heartbreaking. Sleekwhisker and Juniperclaw didn't deserve to have a mother who'd pick them over anything else. Not with what they've done.

Dawnpelt went "insane" due to valid grief. Tawnypelt practically ran the Clan in this book. Tigerheart is like Alexander Hamilton in that he had a forbidden relationship and that's about it. Not to mention he backed Dawnpelt up when he accused Jayfeather, so...

hello i personally hate tigerheart and any cat in shadowclan (no matter if dawnpelt or tawnypelt) would've been a better choice.
plus im preetty sure Rowanstar choose him as deputy because he is his son. and i also have a feeling in my guy Tigerheart will go and try to join ThunderClan (y'know, because Dovewing is ppppppretty much getting knocked up in this arc)
another sketchy thing is, if tigerheart becomes leader?? tigerstar?? cats are not going to be happy with that and neither will be readers :'>
in any case, i respect your opinion if you'd like to see Tigerheart as leader or like him as deputy uvu

I'm confused but I'm not at the same time. I know so much about these books, but the only arc I have finished 100 % was the first one. I have 2 books left for the second arc, 1 book left for the 3rd, I've only read 2 books from the 4th arc, and only the 1st book in the fifth arc. I haven't even touched the arc with Clear Sky and Gray Wing XD I am a lost soul. ._.
pfft. im on the 5th book of clear fart and gray angel. 3rd of the first arc and the rest I havent touched. Okayni read a bt of Twilight actually

Yep! When I have a lot of time on my hands I tend to do that.
I can read a normal book in a hour and a super edition in 2 hours. (( Shorter books like mangas are about 5 or 7 minutes ))
I haven't read Thunder & Shadow yet, so I don't understand what's happening (please no spoilers, I'm gonna buy it when my book store has it :) )
But this is still beautiful!
