A very good breakdown of the 1 3 3 1 system. I like how the lions included roving wingers into their system and how you explained the reason behind it.
Love it Evan. Another great video. Learnt a lot from your use of Metrica. Especially how you annotated the different pods. Plenty of space to upskill for me. Can’t wait for the next one.
Cheers Carrick! Glad your learning something from the videos too! The player tracking can take an age to do sometimes, but I find it a great tool for showing how units work together
Glad to see someone's reading my little notes mid-video :) Especially for back three play in defence and attack, we badly need a higher main-stand angle or angle behind the posts from time to time
@@ekrugbyanalysis6880 It kinda reminded me of Billy Twelvetrees. Apparently he picked up the nickname "36" during his career because Irish teammates said his surname sounded like "twelve threes" in an Irish accent. It's all fun and games 😆

nice overview and great use of the graphics. Thanks!
Cheers, appreciate you saying. The graphics take a bit of time to do, but hopefully it helps make things a bit clearer!
Always great, looking forward to Saturday!!
Thanks, only two more sleeps!
Nice simple breakdown Evan. You've won a sub here ✌️

Super stuff as always Evan, enjoy the next few weeks 🦁👊🏻
Cheers Christopher, really looking forward to it 👍
Great work. Love the video.
Thanks!
Great work as always mate!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very interesting. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed the video👍
Really interesting explanation of the tactic. Thanks
Paciencia, paciencia, paciencia...y aparecen los espacios o los desajustes
wider tv angles would be very nice ahahah --- especially since I'm a back three player so kinda want to see what they do in defence. The painnnnn

I wonder if there's any way to get access to the raw footage, from every camera, not just the TV edit
@@2shitehawk If you know a guy or girl, let me know!
Someone got to have the footage for sure
great !
What do you see as the advantages of the 1322 system vs the 1331?
Or when might it be utilized instead?
Gatland loves his edge forwards. North being so effective at centre for Wales is down to Gatland's use of roving wingers when he was there.

Was just relieved to able to say 1-3-3-1 by the end of the recording, nevermind pronounce the 'th's 😅
