Roger daltrey and Robert plant are the best frontmen ever the who has the best songs
They are great....but the best? IMHO Paul Rodgers owns that honour
Freddie Mercury
Led Zeppelin has the best songs my friend!!! They never made a bad album... The Who have a few shit songs, but still second best to Zep!
Daltrey, Mercury, Plant, and Rodgers are probably the best rock singers of all time.
Hello Robert Plant my love!
I just love seeing the late great and humble Greg Lake in this. And Gary Brooker was pretty damn good too. What an ensemble. Thank you so much for sharing.
Roger daltrey you'r dynamite 🧨
Just watched the one with Gary Moore...that was unreal. Gary Moore and Greg Lake was magic. Gave me shivers down my spine.

Robert Plant's brilliance remains immense and epic. What voice!
Two of the greatest of all time!
Isso é uma preciosidade!
WOW!!! & the Audience & Players of the Scottish Rite!!! SPECTACULAR to say the least. Ohhhh Myyyyyyyyy
this was great
What a voice Nikki Lambourne has!
Some of rock's greatest legends having fun with a good selection of classic songs. And doing it for charity. And a kind soul posting this for everyone to see for free. And yet lots of negative comments. Strange world we live in indeed.
Agree ,you just can't please everyone eh?
Yeah, I wish the negative brigade would just not watch if they hate everything.
And such a sacrifice they made - turning up to a fancy venue to be venerated by a bunch of privileged rich twerps. No hands were dirtied in the making of this swill, folks.
@@johnball3634 Whoever said anything about sacrifice? The 'rich twerps' in attendance raised money for children sick with cancer which I think most people would consider a very worthy cause. And hopefully they had a great evening enjoying the musical entertainment. It's really beyond me to fathom how this can anger you (and others here). They could also have played for free for the homeless but I doubt that would have benefitted the cancer stricken children much.
@@bodhiheeren Feel-good stuff, indeed, but it masks a raft of social and economic inconsistencies that are directly related to the privileged minority commanding a hugely disproportionate share of the country's, and more importantly, the world's wealth. We shouldn't have to rely upon the 'generosity' of the wealthy to fund cancer research or anything else. Waiting on tidbits from the rich is akin to eating crumbs falling from a table, and a reprehensible example of so-called 'trickle down' economics. If the wealthy paid their fair share of taxes instead of dodging them, we wouldn't need to be looking to them to outbid one another on some famous performer's scratched-up old axe so that a charitable organisation could meet their budget.
"I was born with a plastic spoon in my mouth...." Great lyrics in the Who`s Substitute.
show maravilhoso!!!!
Dude after Plant sung me to sleep missed the rest of the show. I want my money back.
That was so freaking AWESOME ; on top shelf music , and top shelf LADY'S.
Very good drummer
Que buenos! Robert ... qué voz!!!!😍💖
What a party they had that night! Great music!
My favorites no.1 Just fantastic !!! real musicians !!!
Love this awesome guys! Magical Music Men !!! ❤️😀✌️
Ty for posting this awesomeness
Gary Brooker sounded great; couldn’t help but hear the likes of the late great Ray Charles and The Band’s Richard Manuel in his tone and tastefully-soulful stylings…
Ahhh, good ol’ days of music! Sooooo jazzzzzzzy! Remeninds me of Jimmy Smith’s organ playing from the 60s
Planty...........The best Rock Lead Singer ever!

From the bottom of my heart thank you Daddychrispips for posting this incredible concert!!! I remember hearing about this gig years ago when it happened, and always wanted to see it and looked for it for many moons. Robert Plant has always been my all time fav & to me thee greatest influential singers of all time in my life, along with Roger of course, and loved watching every minute of this concert. Thanks brother, cheers to you from here in Canada!
Glad you liked it , RUclips is great for hidden gems like this 😉👍
@@daddychrispips ....Sorry, but I didn't like it....I loved it brother! 😉👍
Daltrey não morreu e não envelheceu. 😎
Awesome
Grande cuando se era rock-
Great when you were a rock-
50:22 "What is it?" lol Planty's still got it, an absolute legend!!!
Привет Роберт !!!
I would’ve danced all night !!💛👌🏼
tolle band mit einer klasse sängerin.kompliment
Only Greg Lake performed with taste….. otherwise he was a good sport playing a mean bass!
The greatest Soul singers of all time were not there unfortunately. But this is a very good performance wit my favorite singers.Love this kind of musik.
put Greg Lake on the title
There's not enough space (character limit) it's in the description though 👍
The other side of R&R. The high society, the beatiful people... The big shit!
🤩🤩🤩
Debió cantar Greg Lake
Écouter vers la 27 mn on dirait qu il pousse la chansonnette.
Yes definitely the coolest "pub band"
A lot more than that!
Roger, Robert, Gary and Greg all great voices and members of unique bands of an historical era, all together! But what is it for? The crowd could not be more incongruous! I assume and hope it was for some important charity. From the looks of it, the song list, except for that GD cover, seem to be chosen for a disco crowd.
Yes it was for charity (Teenage Cancer Trust) ,the tickets were very expensive and they had a charity auction so loads of money made for that charity 😉👍
@@daddychrispips Thanks.😊👍
I don't hear much disco here, and I don't hear any GD cover either. If you refer to Stagger Lee this is the traditional blues not the GD track.
@@bodhiheeren I don't expect you to. It is a personal subjective impression, less to do with beats but more with ethos and my personal associations.
As for as Staggerlee is concerned, thanks for clarifying it. To my ears the rendering is similar but that maybe because both are drawing it from the same sources.
people asking for stairway..... and robert is like itll cost you a grand... jajajajja
Is that Greg Lake playing bass?
Yes 👍
He performs Lucky Man!
54:00 "STAIRWAY"
RP: "It'll cost you more than a few grand for that, luv."
classic Percy.
Classic Percy indeed! She must have been easy on the eyes for him to offer her dinner if she kept quiet.
Es lo q m gusta la buena música POS si
This happened almost 18 years ago.
25 July my birthday !
Robert is exceptional on this as is Russ !
Pete Woodroffe Music
GARY BROOKER ! p harum ......ok!

Wow; the mega assholery in that room is beyond belief !
Some very, very nice british talent in attendance... and a great musical line-up, too!
faves 48:50 plant, 1:14:20 behind blue eyes
😍😁
That's how you sing
I would of fly back to me England if I knew this was happening. Fuuuuuck
They have performed born to run
Plant sounds like Elvis at times.
He sure does.
He is a huge fan of Elvis!!
@@ThiagodMoraes True, but this was one of the few times I actually heard him "sound" like Elvis.
49:09 Robert Plant
Wahou !
This looks like one of those $10,000 a plate events.
you dont know like i know!!
Whos the chick singing with Daltrey,?..The Drummer Looks like Dave Mattaks.(Fairport old stand by?.The Keyboard player with black hair in the back ground bores a stronge resemblance to the great Chris Farlow..A bit of an odd hodpoge of people and performance but Hey it works!
Need Gary Moore too, just to top it off.
Robert Plant is untachable, as well as Led Zepp are. His voice doesn't require too much of the beckup vocals, if any.
The world's coolest bar/pub band !
I've seen better at my local.
@Dan Skammer - uh, no, the greatest bar/pub band would be The Band :-) Still this is pretty cool.
Seems like a show, I could have payed my 25$ at the door & strolled right in
The girls a little much!
