If you have a problem and there is nowhere else to turn, the mysterious and elusive Robert McCall will deliver the vigilante justice you seek. This time, however, McCall's past cuts especially close to home when thugs kill Susan Plummer -- his best friend and former colleague. Denzel Washington was the GOAT for this series. Imagine if he acted alongside Liam Neeson in the same movie...
Liam Neeson said in an interview that he was a huge fan of Denzel and this series. He said he watches them over and over.
"I'm gonna kill each and every one of you, and the only disappointment in it for me is that I only get to do it once." 🥶So cold and smooth.
Loved that scene. Especially smiling back at his former team, telling them "I'll see you at work". Then picking up his daughter and riding away with his wife. 👏
Can't wait for "Equalizer 3".
This one was my favourite so far. One of the times the sequel was better than the first. Every fight scene was epic.
Denzel alone is reason enough to give The Equalizer franchise the first place in this genre, not only because of his skills as a killer, which are very different from a John Wick going straight at all enemies and often have to do with clever planning, cunning traps, etc., but also because of the personal stories, his whole way of helping people and the like. The Taken series comes in second for me for similar reasons, then John Wick and then Nobody in my personal ranking, which is always a matter of personal taste.
As for the end of your reaction, I would definitely suggest Robert De Niro's first work as a filmmaker "A Bronx Tale" (1993), which like Goodfellas is based on true events, but in my opinion is the better film of the two and you will surely like it.
No way bro!! I just finished this movie last night!! At the same time im sad that i never got watch both of these in theaters but proudi finally watched them! I would of had so much fun. I enjoyed this movie but not as much i loved the first one! I still give this an 8.5/10! I'm excited for the 3rd one!
