This is outright disrespectful! The city council meeting could've waited to resume after the funeral. This is just the start of Flint going down for the count, no one is going to fight for Flint the way Mr Mays did and it's showing already.
Let me ask you a question ?? With the ongoing dispute with the family currently, how long do you put city business on hold ?? Some ordinances are time sensitive and need to move forward to be activated.

She's talking about Ladel Lewis, Quincy Murphy and Judy Priestley. There are recalls on Ladel and Quincy. Judy will be recalled next. There is an election to fill the 7th Ward seat in August. They plan to work hard to not let her win. stepped down, effective may 7th.

The rest of the 5 meaning Ladel Lewis, Quincy Murphy, Judy Priestley, Candace Mushatt and Eva Worthing. Those 5 supported the suspension of Eric Mays because he shed light on their corruption and stealing ARPA funds.
Eric passed away during his suspension while these 5 were busy filling up their pockets.

That is truly sad. He was a young man for the most part. We needed more people that would speak up like him and put people in their place. What a minute: "We need to remove the rest of em" Like 1 down, 5 to go? That was obviously a way to say I'm glad he's gone. How disrespectful that they focused so much on this man's skin color and animated ways but blatantly ignored the good he's done and the support he had from all of America. Just sad!
This is a lesson to us all, at some point put differences aside and show respect for the deceased. If they didn't get it right with him, they are among the living and will have to live with the guilt. Councilman Mays publically said he want to make it to heaven. Therefore, he held no grudges. He said what he said and moved on. Yet, there are still people in this world who hold on to stuff and mess while the other person is in peace and have a peace of mind.
