Another day trip from my base in Sattal, this time to Mukteshwar which is a well known yet comparatively less commercialized hill station in Uttarakhand's Kumaon region.
I visited the Mukteshwar Dham temple, Zero Point (which is a view point to enjoy snow-clad peaks of Himalayas), Chauli Ki Jali to check out leisure activities & adventure sports, and enjoyed authentic kumaoni thali at Nirvana Organic Kitchen and would recommend you to visit this beautiful place if you are visiting Kumaon.

1:37 Temple tiger was in and around DeviDhura.
2:37 the famous post office, where the dead man-eating tigress was kept, for people to watch.
4:11 in 2017, that fencing wasn't there. People could move freely around the Inspection bungalow, which is seen on the right.
*And it was free*
Lot many changes made. Beautiful garden.
I think, to see snowy peaks, winter season is the best time.

*Such crowd must keep themselves away from Mukteshwar.*

Informative .....Kumaoni vive is there.....presentation is simple & nice.......but need more detailed infos on distance, location & prices.......Mukteshwar is indeed a far serene place to stay than Nainital .......
