And yes you can set the sample start and end in the sp202. Use the mark button, hit mark when you want to start and hit it again when you want to end the sample. Enjoy,

Thank you! also, if you happen to know, can you run the turntable directly into the 303 and use the filters / FX without recording? like a guitarist with a pedal board, but instead the turntable with the 303 fx section?

You can run what you want into 303 or any SP and use it like an effector. But you can only use one effect at a time.
What do you set your recording level and everything for the 202? Like what do you set everything at so that you get a good gain level in your MPC.
When you are sampling on the 202, you can set the input level (like other samples) and obviously the output level.

It's track mute function on MPC. Very easy to use! You can mute the different tracks you made.

Referente al sonido de las MPC y las SP's:
Si que es verdad que las SP's tienen efectos y un sonido muy característico. Destacando los diferentes "sample rates" donde cambia la frecuencia de muestreo y consigues ese sonido "LOFI".
Si no lo has visto aún, te recomiendo que veas este video de mi canal. Entenderás lo que te estoy explicando.

So once you’ve done your thing in the 303, do you go into a daw for a final mix/master? That’s my struggle i go into the 404 and do my thing but feel like i still “have” to take it into a daw for to it to be called finished but i rly want to stay in the box completely so i never “finish” anything. Dope content btw 👊🏾
I use the MPC to mix the beat and I use a daw to make a simple master.
I think this feeling is usual.
All of us have had it.
You need to find your way to finish it and it's not so easy.
Keep in mind that for a good master you will always need a very good mix.

I use a Canon EOS 200D and a iPhone.
I noticed you said there is no start & end point on the SP 202 device but that's not true you have to use the mark button and then you can trim your samples in the SP 202 if you need to trim off you press mark & delete if you didn't already know have a good day my friend
