Wishing you the happiest and most creative year for 2025!🎉 This series was fun! I'm going to play around with this for a bit and see what develops! 🎉 Make sure to check out my free supply guide too! mollys-artistry.com/swipe-technique-supply-guide/
Love your videos! Love your fun “let’s see what happens!” attitude. You make everything look so easy! 😂❤Wishing you & your husband a very Happy New Year!🎉🎨🌊
Love your bubbly personality, great experiment, love the cell effect. I’m from Australia, and have just purchased some Global Paints, so would love to see you use some of those. My favourite colours have always been aqua and blue hues with a bit of gold thrown in. Keep up the fantastic work. Have an amazing New Year.
Happy 2025!! You truly do bring sparkle and joy...thank you! Have you ever intentionally tried doing swipes in animal ahapes??? Dragons, snakes etc?? I would LOVE to see a golden, bronze horse ... with grassy edging ...or whatever your beautiful creative mind sees as swipes develop
Molly, you're the PhD of painting. Not only do you know colors but the chemical make up but many of their interactions and contrasts with other colors. You inspired me to start painting but compared to your PhD, I'm in maybe 3rd grade. Ha! Your video is my new year's gift to myself. Here's a long distance hug from the Outer Banks of N.C ❤
So funny when Molly said that! Her personality comes with this artist so we don’t want Molly to change, not quite a bit! She funny, smiley, dynamic, bubbly and above all, a great teacher!
I like this final result! It is very interesting. Can’t wait for you to explore and experiment more with satin enamel. As a manner fact it would be interesting you experiment with the few color satin enamel if you have some. And that you try the Global paints. I have some and yet never tried them.
I understand the design concept of balance and symmetry and how it creates a unified work of art. But, there is a beauty to “asymmetry” that is compelling and draws one in and balance can be created with negative space. Personally, I think this is one of your best pieces because of the negative space and the symmetry. I just love how the colors are subtlety infiltration the negative space, almost coaxing it to meld with the composition ❤
This reminds me of a friend who told us that her mother-in-law ones told her that if she(MIL) passes away the friend were to go to her sewing room and collect all the material that was there so her husband(the FIL) not find out how much material she had bought and stored and never got around to use. Lol.
It could be interesting to take this painting and paint/draw sea creatures from the shapes. I see a whale and turtle. It could be another way to incorporate more from your shelves on the same painting. Very beautiful
Oh Molly!! Thank you. I have not painted for about 2-3 months, life got crazy. I always make time to follow video's. So I went mixed up my paint, CA, and your pearl recipe and jumped head first. Mind you I am still very new at painting and not that good, yet, but oh my goodness I will have to send you a picture of what I created. I too am not in love with my composition but I did it, it worked!! Thanks again for always being such an inspiration and always teaching!!
That really IS cool...it seems to have shrunk back to the middle....i also loved the section of cells that looks just like you're looking into a swimming pool or something like that. ❤
Satin enamel works great as a base for Dutch pours with just paint and water, makes a lot of cells, love it. For the new year, I’d love to see you not ‘wreck’ some paintings of all kinds. I love this one
Molly, I have one pot of the pearl and cloud pour stuff you used. It took me two years to get it in Australia and I haven’t used it in case I do it wrong. Painters are all collectors, we are bower birds because we just might need that one day. I just started using Global in the last two months because I had lots of it. I bought it for kids to try and people who wanted to learn to see if they liked painting. I never thought much of it but I am surprised at the pretty Dutch Pours I am getting with way less product and effort. They are vibrant and mixed with a few TLP’s they are extra pretty. I don’t care what you choose next. I even love the finished one that fell over. It has its own charm.❤
Oh my, your shelves make me feel so much better about my own art supply purchasing! I have an amazing number of products similar to yours and I’m not a professional artist. Artists just make all the supplies look so useful in their videos, I order, but by the time they arrive I’ve already forgotten why they seemed like such a good idea! Looking forward to putting them to use! I loved this piece! Mixing of products it’s so interesting to me but rarely do my experiments turn out as good as yours! But you inspire me to keep throwing my heart into what has become my obsession! Thanks!
watched it again… its AMAZING!! look like I’m at Michael’s… Lol you have an abundant amount of stuff. This is gonna be a fabulous year watching you experiment & play around. 👍🏼👍🏼❤️
Super cool painting, Molly! You're so clever. I love this! I hope your painting falling over isn't you're Garage ghost making a come back! Happy New Year, lovely lady! 🎉 I hope all your wishes for 2025 come true! Love and hugs! 😃❤️🐨🙋♀️👍🎉
I had to screenshot this one for color inspo. I am building some studio furniture like a drawing table (slants up and down) a work table, a standing desk, and a sewing table for my sewing machines. Been trying to figure out what colors I want to use and I love these. It is so sad that it fell down because it was so perfect when you finished it. I would love to see another one in the same colors but with maybe a little more paint to give you room to play with the composition and of course that dries fully without falling. I just love these colors.
Those big cells make me think of an octopus, especially when they’re squiggly. I agree the painting does give off reptile vibes, I am not a fan of reptiles but I do love the big octopus cells. I would love to see how you use the spray paints. What you could do just as a challenge is write all of your supplies on pieces of paper, sort them into categories such as base, swiping mediums, colors, metallic’s, etc and do a series where you start by drawing from each pot to determine what you use. Write down the different techniques, dirty pour, straight pour, flip cup, spin, tilt, swipe, to determine what to do. I think it would be pretty wild and you may even discover something you hadn’t even considered before. Of course if you KNOW something wouldn’t work together you could tweak it a bit. I hope you have a very happy and successful New Year. 🎉❤
Your excitement over your painting is so nice to hear. This is so beautiful and I look forward to see more of your experiment. Wish you a Happy New Year.
I love that you do the hard work of experimenting for all of us👏👏👏sure makes our life easier 🙏 I love these colors, you need to run with this idea, beautiful HAPPY NEW YEAR🎉
Hola mollys feliz nuevo año amiga. Como siempre esta muy bonito .yo solo deseo todo tu material de trabajo .se vee tan completo. ❤abrzos desde Marcona Perú
This is great! I really like the colours you chose! The cloud effect is awesome. As for the "boo boo" ... clouds move in the sky. It is okay. Still a great result.
Since I live in a downtown apartment I can't do this, but I can still be in awe. And Molly this AWEsome! Or should I say, Awe and then some! I am very excited for your new year of experimentation and as usual...Green's Ma Thing This has the coolest Crocodile Skin/Turtle Shell vibes (19:10) I've ever seen! I hope Giles Ward is watching. From Indy: Mike&SonnyDawg 💚
Happy New Year Molly! I love when you experiment and take us along for the journey; I learn so much. It would be super fun to see you incorporate the crackle paste with fluid art 😊
Hi there, @MOLLYSARTISTRY! A Happy New Year to you too!!! I love this experiment, more than the next one :D because there are more cells or little clouds pearl cells, doesn't matter the exact name of them. Also the contrast of the white with the colors in the center is stronger then that light blue! Can't wat to see the next one with fire colors! Thank you so much for all your efforts behind the scenes -I know it's a huge work, in order to share with us your artwork!!!
Love the composition. Love the way the colors fade into the clouds around the edges. It's a beautiful painting. ❤ The cells at the bottom and the way the colors swirl looks like ocean. The part you are so upset about makes beautiful sky. So all together it feels like a great ocean/sea painting
Happy New Year!! Love it… I agree that it looks like a dragon. It would be fun to embellish it with some of the “supplies on the shelf” to make it stand out more… 🤔
Those cells are neat. Some of them look 3D. I like the composition, looks like it is ripping out of the canvas. Happy New Year!! No need for a new you, love the way you are!! Thanks!!
Looovveee the colors! 💜💚🩵 with the white around the edges it almost looks like the colors are breaking thru a wall, very cool. Like the Kool-aid man! Hahaha
I love this piece ❤. I love the swipe in the middle -gorgeous colors, and the pearl cells are beautiful. Even though the painting was like 'nope, I want some color over here' it still turned out fantastic. Happy New Year!!!!
With the color combination and the pearls and little bit of slippage, it reminds me of ice caves I saw on a nature show. It's gorgeous. Keep at it!! A very happy New Year to new.
First of all, Happy New Year to you and your family Molly!!!! All the best for 2025! Second, I LOVE how excited you are about this new series! And third, I LOVE this color combination!! The blue, green and purple... the cells, the lacing!! 😍😱 I love the asymmetry of it. And I love the white cells. It almost looks like one of those pictures where the background ripped and the color part shone through. Know what I mean? I understand about having a purchasing problem. You should see my yarn "collection". LOL! Maybe this year I will work on using up what I have too!
I'm excited about this series and will help me with inspiration. This painting is still beautiful regardless of the mess up. Thank you for all of your videos, and I look forward to seeing so many more. For now, I'd like to see you use the posca markers.
I'm titling this one Dancey Dragon - I know you don't 'look for' images inside the painting and I don't either, but sometimes I feel I just have to accept and move on. 😌Thank you for this fun experiment! You've inspired me to get back to painting! Happy New Year to you and yours and thank you so so much for all the behind the scenes work you do to put these works up regularly! 10 out of 10!
Molly, I love this! I am sorry it fell! However, it is super cool and beautiful! I cannot wait to seen you do it again! I would like to see you do something with masking fluid! Have a blessed, healthy, peaceful, creative and safe New Year!
I'd love to see you play with the blackest black and possibly with (?) the gold ? I love all your experiments! This one is funky sorry it didn't dry how you were expecting and hoping.
Uuuuuhh I would be interested in seeing how you would use spray paints in a pour! I love the colors you chose for this piece and the effects are gorgeous 😍
Happy new year Molly! I’m thrilled to see this as Id almost given up on Pearl/ cloud pours as I kept losing all the colours. Now I’ve got another method to try as you’ve so beautifully demonstrated: thank you! 😃
Happy New Year Molly ! 🎉🥂❤…you are just amazing …love you testing of new ideas …you take all the hard work away from us who love your channel . Can’t wait to see more of this series …much love Molly ❤
I’m SOOOOO glad you are just YOU, otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to watch this channel anymore. 😂 Happy New Year, friend. I love the colors of this painting, and those cells are to die for! Please please please do one using copper, bronze, SILVER, & black metallics, on white. I am so curious to see what that could look like. Molly, I wish you & yours the most blessed and prosperous year ever! You are “da’ best!” ❤️
I’m so glad you said that reminds you of a reptile because I was having a similar thought but in a different context. Retired pro wrestler Jake “the Snake” Roberts began his WWF career wearing purple and lime green tights with snake skin boots and carrying a large snake. Some sort of constrictor. The color scheme reminded me of him. It’s a beautiful painting but it’s a shame it slid off the stands while drying. Great experiment though and can’t wait to see more!
Happy New Year Molly! I love this experimental painting. You have great ideas is that brain of yours that surpise even me as well as yourself. Looking forward to this new year of painting myself too. Hugs
Such a great experiment ❣ I’d love to see you play with powder pigments. I have a lot that I used in resin, but haven’t really used them in paint. I’d also like to see what you can do with fluorescent paint 😁
oh, I think it’s fabulous… I’ve always wanted to do that cloud pour and now I really wanna do it… I love watching your videos happy new year to you wishing you the best in 2025! i’m super excited to see what you do with all the stuff on your shelves. You’ve got a few stores right there, girl… And this will be exciting to go along this experimental route with you.
Wishing you the happiest and most creative year for 2025!🎉
This series was fun! I'm going to play around with this for a bit and see what develops!

Love what you are doing! It's beautiful Molly. How did you mix the Satin enamel?
Love your bubbly personality, great experiment, love the cell effect. I’m from Australia, and have just purchased some Global Paints, so would love to see you use some of those. My favourite colours have always been aqua and blue hues with a bit of gold thrown in. Keep up the fantastic work. Have an amazing New Year.
Could you make a black and white color scheme with a little bit of red??
Happy 2025!! You truly do bring sparkle and joy...thank you! Have you ever intentionally tried doing swipes in animal ahapes??? Dragons, snakes etc?? I would LOVE to see a golden, bronze horse ... with grassy edging ...or whatever your beautiful creative mind sees as swipes develop

I second this
Definitely the blackest black and the mirror paint!
As a fellow hoarder of art and craft supplies, I support a year of Stash Busting! 😋 I swear, collecting supplies is a whole separate hobby!

Oh I love that! 🥰
I love it. Reminds me of a beautiful abstract dragon
I love it❤looks so magical and beautiful. ❤Super Molly.

Looovveee the colors! 💜💚🩵 with the white around the edges it almost looks like the colors are breaking thru a wall, very cool. Like the Kool-aid man! Hahaha
I noticed you cleaned your shelves before the video. The enamel cells looked like something you might see under a microscope! Very cool.!

I’m fine with the white edge. Lovely.
I'd love to see you play with the blackest black and possibly with (?) the gold ? I love all your experiments! This one is funky sorry it didn't dry how you were expecting and hoping.
Happy New Year, Molly! What a beautiful painting to start it out. I absolutely love the colors choices and the technique ❤
Uuuuuhh I would be interested in seeing how you would use spray paints in a pour! I love the colors you chose for this piece and the effects are gorgeous 😍

Beautiful. Happy New Year. Can't wait to see your creations this year. ❤
Happy New Year! I’m so excited to be creating new stuff this year too! 🎉
I Love this piece and the color blend. I think the finger curls really helped the composition 😊

Happy New Year, friend.
I really like this color combination
I’m so glad you said that reminds you of a reptile because I was having a similar thought but in a different context.
Retired pro wrestler Jake “the Snake” Roberts began his WWF career wearing purple and lime green tights with snake skin boots and carrying a large snake. Some sort of constrictor. The color scheme reminded me of him.
It’s a beautiful painting but it’s a shame it slid off the stands while drying. Great experiment though and can’t wait to see more!
That is a gorgeous affect. Good job.
Happy New year. I wish you the best for you and you family and more success and blessings. I love all your experiments.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying the experiments!
🎉 absolutely love this one 🎉
I'm so happy you're excited for the new series!
Love the composition, the colors and all of those cells. Such a beautiful experiment. Just my 1 cent.
Happy new year, Molly! I'm looking forward to all your new experiments. Love your work 😊

Ooohhh, I love it. Such a cool effect!
At least you have all the extra things organized!
Happy New Year Molly! I love this experimental painting. You have great ideas is that brain of yours that surpise even me as well as yourself. Looking forward to this new year of painting myself too. Hugs
Beautiful! Love the color combination
Thank you! 😊
Such a great experiment ❣ I’d love to see you play with powder pigments. I have a lot that I used in resin, but haven’t really used them in paint. I’d also like to see what you can do with fluorescent paint 😁
Finger swipe looks more like a scorpion tail instead of a snake to me. Colors are gorgeous!
oh, I think it’s fabulous… I’ve always wanted to do that cloud pour and now I really wanna do it… I love watching your videos
happy new year to you wishing you the best in 2025!
i’m super excited to see what you do with all the stuff on your shelves. You’ve got a few stores right there, girl… And this will be exciting to go along this experimental route with you.
