please just appreciate the beauty of it. if shiori and koyomi end up together this story would be as great as it is. the pain is supposed to get to you. if you didnt suffer you would know how to appreciate happiness. their suffering is beautiful. its painful and thats what makes this 2 stories great. all of them suffered and in order to be happy they cant be together all of them end up having a happy life thanks to their sacrifices. they didnt end up together but their love is eternal that transcends any realities.
the song is literally about them . The last lyric said " I was in the depth of darkness because I want to find the light " , They sacrifice so they can be happy
I still sad with kazune in first show. she spent almost all her life to help, koyomi even know he will leave her. So in second show when Kazune end up with koyomi i think you deserve him girl. but i remember scence when kazune from first show take over kazune's second show body, write the letter, enter kiyomi's room smile when she gaze at koyomi then set the scedule, after that she lie beside koyomi and i think "damn't that luxury she can't get because she is not kiyomi's wife and koyomi has gone already" So in the end they end with their supose couple but how about kazune in first show because she's all alone😭😭😭😭😭😭

What most people don't understand is that Koyomi and Shiori from Kimi(pink) did not "reincarnate". Koyomi just died at 74 to fetch the same Shiori as a spirit by borrowing 80-year-old Koyomi from Boku(blue) universe before both of them enters Nirvana, a state where there is absolutely nothing. Before reaching, that, he created a timeline where he and Shiori meets each other again at an old age, which is the Boku(blue) universe.
