all of these actors and actresses were complicit. i'm tired of them acting like they weren't. they knew for years, and refused to jeopardize their fame and fortune, even if it meant saving young actors. they're part of the corrupt system and i'm so sick of their preaching and pretending like they're woke.

The fact that now so many of these celebrities say they didn't know and offered support to the women that spoke is frankly disgusting.
The one that bothers me the most is Meryl Streep because she had the power to speak up and end Harvey Weinstein abuse but she never did.
Meryl Streep personally never had problems with him. He doesn't like ugly women. She can't grasp the problem of beautiful women.
Weinstein's mother often belittled him and he felt that he had to exert power over women to compensate for his feelings of inadequacy. However, this does not excuse his actions and the harm he caused to numerous women in the film industry.

Yeah the show that had multiple episodes with actors doing a blackface. Most of the mainstream content we consume are made by people who have connections to rich people. They don't carr about morality until regular people use twitter to talk about it.

It’s a difficult one. It would be hard to go to the police if you had just heard rumours. Someone like Seth clearly heard stories but almost certainly didn’t see anything himself or have any hard evidence. So he made a point of joking about it in public, because that was the most he could do at the time. That’s my read anyway.
People who KNEW KNEW and did nothing are super guilty though, I agree.

Actors and actresses saw the harassment of powerful men as a kind of commerce, and many became rich and famous. but right now they are all talking about politics, women's rights and so on. Personally, this may be a choice, but they are also silent when others are harassed.
