You're a true blessing to others. I want to help my brother with his f150 that lost forward drive as well. Reverse works fine 🙂 im not mechanic, but I've been blessed by our Heavenly Father to fix a few things. Thanks again for the video
Man when I saw that first set of clutch packs come out I was like "those things are completely trashed" and you were like "they look in great shape!"... they weren't in great shape right?
Great videos - your Torque Conv and Transmission rebuild - very informative. My 04 Expy just experienced a problem - suddenly no reverse - and then significant forward gear slippage. Drove home at 20km/hr. Need to check a few basics - but expect I may have seal problems in BOTH rear and drive transmission packs. Seems unlikely BOTH would fail at the same time. Makes me think something more COMMON failed to cause both reverse and forward problems. Thoughts ?
It would not be a bad transmission to work on.....but.......That dam cross member bolts....bolts always break off in the frame....ugh. No reverse....maybe a broken reverse band. 1999's were bad about this.
