Tupac was that rare breed of someone living their 100th life intellectually but emotionally living their 1st life. Very little emotional control and high intellect makes for great art, but a combustible, dangerous person. Once hit ‘Em up came out, I instantly knew Tupac’s days were numbered.

Damn that hits deep. He definitely spoke his death into existence too. He was really trying to fit as much as he could into his short life, he kept saying it in interviews and songs. Absolutely amazing that he has achieved a forever lasting legacy in such a short time
Tupac, despite his shortcomings, was still a young man who made an incredible impact not only as a rapper but as an actor and a revolutionary, I don't see no rapper touching him

I found out a few years ago that my dad was not just some hick Indiana farmer but a Chicago Gangster. At 19 my Dad lost his father and inherited a house that I later realized was a Hideout, down a dirt road in the middle of a cornfield....just a couple miles down the RR track from where Tyson "spent time away from home".
I love listening to Mike. He has evolved more than pretty much anyone.

at the end of the day Tupac was just a 25 year old (which is still very young) and he made some bad mistakes which he paid the consequence for . Most of us get away with our mistakes , he didn't .

I have to disagree with Mike on this one. Tupac did not “bring it on himself”, that’s a lie. He’s been dealing with internal and external forces that were out to get him since birth. That rape charge that they slammed on him was plotted by the powers that be. Not one of those dudes who violated that girl was sent to prison.
Nah Pac was living wild, and he definitely brought that on himself. No one told him to run up on Orlando that night, he was trying to show out for Suge and those Bloods. If he didn't get killed that night he would have been locked up for violating bail conditions.
