OMG Duran Duran and U2 were my favorite bands during the 80's!! BTW, Larry if you're reading these comments I find it very impressive you began composing music at such an early age!!

One of the final episodes of the New Monkees was called "Larry Leaves." Don't leave, Larry. We love you!

Very interesting interview and seeing and hearing Larry as he is today. Seems like a very nice, well-adjusted and down-to-earth guy. Like you, I still play the album. There are no bad songs on it, IMHO. I think I may have gone with "I Don't Know" as the single, just because it's so hooky and pop, that I could have seen it be a hit. Follow it up with "Want I Want", "Do It Again", "Boy Inside the Man" and maybe end on "The Way She Moves" to have that ballad.

For some reason the show didn’t play on a weeknight it was stuck at 11am Saturday where I lived. And kept getting pre-empted as well. Didn’t have the best promotion behind the show at all.

The producers totally botched it. So many should have beens with the show. Always felt bad for the guys since they were all very likable and the music was great.

I’m a little confused..I know only the basics on the new Monkees..But Larry talks about seeing a trailer for the new Monkees before “The last of the Mohicans” movie..But that was 1992.Same with his comment on Nirvana’s “never mind”. That was the 90’s too..Didn’t The New Monkees come and go by 1987-88?.No big deal but it Seems like some of his dates don’t match up.

Possible the dates were a different movie. Was a while ago :)

The music was good. The show was not well thought through. It was really garbage. But as far as the music it was great.
