    I think you used Little Jade Bonsai’s photo in your thumbnail. You should give him credit or use your own picture. It’s not right to steal.

    Looks like an all sand mixture. But I see you can literally cut a jade branch or trunk and just stick it in the soil and it will route. Very hearty plant?

    I have always let the trunk cut dry out for several days before potting as I read this prevents rot, is this an unnecessary step?

    Haven’t seen anyone mention this but the plant in this video isn’t a jade/Crassula Ovata. This is a Portulacaria Afra also sometimes confusingly called a “dwarf jade” even though it’s not a jade. They are completely different plants.

      Do you see all the new green foliage? That’s one indication, but Jade plants do route very easily just from either a branch or stem cutting
