Two years ago my daughter and her husband, who met while they were in the Band, wanted to have the Pep Band and I would have gladly paid for it but unfortunately they got married on a game day so the Band was a bit busy playing at the Big House. We did have Carl, the man that announces at the stadium, “Band, take the Field!”, pre record the entrance announcement of the names of the bridal party. I also tipped the musicians and the singer at the actual wedding, who just happened to be graduates of the school of music, and had them play the Victors as everyone proceeded down the aisle at the end of the service. (The church ladies were not amused because apparently the fight song is not considered to be religious music :-)
2:00 actual photographer misses a good framing/leading line shot from where the camera guy is standing of the bride and groom kissing at the band plays.
@automotive2007 That's the Fanfare Band, which is made up of select members of the MMB. They can be hired to play at any number of events, though it's not cheap.
That would be awesome to have a wedding INSIDE the Big House and have the band play as you walk out from the tunnel.
You can do that now but its a bit pricey
Something old.
Something new,
Something borrowed.
Something GO BLUE!!!!!
