  • A make-up artist says she lost her job at a leading brand after an AI recruitment tool using facial recognition technology marked her down for her body language.
Companies are increasingly using AI to scan CVs and score candidates as well as to analyse body language and facial expressions in video interviews.
New figures show the UK ranks second among countries using artificial intelligence in recruiting and human resources.
Her former employer said the visual recognition accounted for less than 1% of her assessment.”

The AI wasn't reading her CV. It was reading her body language. It's a lot more scary.

So, let me get this straight: She applied for a job, and then got fired from the current one. Reason is AI. Just, how, why, what? They forgot to add the story and just bashed AI 😂

So her job involves working with human beings but the non human didn't like her body language so they fired her? Her job performance should be based on customer satisfaction imo. Just like self checkouts now though I guess people don't value cashiers and human interaction anyway some facial recognition machine will soon just make cosmetic suggestions based on complexion type etc. SMH.

Problem is the AI is being programmed by woke, Antifa, leftist agenda cretins from Commyfornia just like Video Games, Movies etc are now so AI can be wrong in a big sense as those who create it with the language models used then have it decide via their chosen political agenda.
It's already been a problem in the U.S with these types of recruitment tools with conservatives being in the same boat that this lady was in the video, so much so that a lot of Conservative States e.g Texas, Alabama etc are trying to ban it or nerf it's presence in certain industries like HR, even Microsoft are saying that AI is being rolled out at scale. BT will be laying off 50,000 by 2030 once the FTTP network is complete and even the DWP will be using it for sanctions and benefits in the coming years, it's already happening and there is nothing that can be done to stop it, anything to save money for the 1%.

also, the solution to everything is more regulation, got it, let's spend a couple of bn paying that guy, make sure we don't let AI takeover.
