- Me playing the 1st movement of Beethoven's 5th symphony on my brand new ELS-02X!
I used an ELS-01 registration and adapted some things to use some ELS-02 features.
I put most part of the Timpanis to the keyboard percussion (Orchestra Perc. kit) to learn how to use this feature!
This is far away from being perfect, but I wanted to show you my new Electone with this piece :)

With all due respect, but have you ever heard of Mark Shakespeare ? I stood right beside him, watching him play, and the man in this video doesn't even come close.......... If Mark would not have died at such a young age, he would be the best organist in the world, today. Whatever he played, fast or slow, I could never catch him making a mistake. Ever. Not a single wrong note or keystroke......... As good as Marco is, I can not say that about him.
And look at videos of Japanese organists, playing the Electone organs. Marco would not stand a chance against them, in a competition.
Don't get me wrong..... Marco makes nice videos and playes well.
I have never see such a good classic performance on a organ before!! In one word perfect!!

An absolutely incredible sound, if I were not watching you actually playing it, I'd say that I was listening to a symphony orchestra. I guess that's what the Yamaha design engineers were after, but then it takes someone like yourself with the ability to bring it all out. BRAVO....extremely well done!

As far as orchestral sound goes, nothing beats a Yamaha Stagea and someone who can elicit it so perfectly - I'm very impressed. It also reminds me that I'm just a strummer myself and need to practice more and can dream of such skills with such an instrument. A video I have seen many times and love to see again. Thanks for sharing with us!

I love electronic organs and synthesizers. And I love electronic renditions of classical music. Even though this one is meant to be acoustic-sounding, it still has that electronic music quality using primarily samples that still has that wonderful, electronic music instrument quality to it that I love so much.

I can only say WOW. I spend hours watching this MUSICIAN it is far better than UK TV. I have bought a Tyros five but at 64 I do not expect to reach this standard or anything like. It is just great fun to try. Keep it up I would love to see Toccata but I have not searched to see if yo have done it. RTegards Ric

@@RenatoPernett This instrument is far superior to any Mr. B had available. The old organs were big and splendid, but far more limited in capability. Plus, he could have used headphones, removing the need to chop the legs off the piano. :-)

I loved this remarkable performance, Marco. Looking at the exciting unboxing at the end, I'm sure, peeling the protective film off the cover of a ELS-02X is a much better experience than doing the same on a new smart phone!
