Hey Bryan how do you like your 45xml which i am considering? 1 important question though. What speeds are you getting with a 325 gr bullet. I have seen McWhorter say and have in print saying they get a 325 gr bullet at 3100+ fps which seems crazy to me. I then seen and heard them say 325 at 2750 fps which seems correct. But since you own it what are you actually getting? Also what scope did you put on top of her? Thx Brian
Brian, we have two different loads that are extremely accurate with our 45 XML. One at 2750 and one at 3100fps, both shooting the 325 grain Pittman Aeromax. There's a video overviewing the 45 XML and what loads it will shoot on the McWhorter RUclips channel.
Hey Brian. I didn’t see your comment before. Both loads are accurate and correct on velocities. I have a Swarovski Z8i 2.3-18x50 on my 45 XML and it can use every bit of that glass. I wouldn’t change a thing about it. If you get one, consider the Zenith stock design.
Hey Bryan I ordered the 45xml and it's being shipped as of yesterday. Chose the Pinnacle stock and had them Mount a NF ATACR 7x35 F1 mil xt. Should have it this week. Beyond excited
When you Cerakote the barrel, are you also Cerakoting the crown? I have heard mixed reviews on doing this and would like to hear from you on your experiences.
Just what I want, take an inferior rifle on the hunt on a life time. Prior, I could spend more then a more, and still have an inferior rifle, with a few upgrades. Mcr's gets cheaper, the more the trigger is pulled. Getting mine soon, and more happy on future dream hunts. Do the math.
