This is a great collection of vintage images of PTown. I have loved visiting PTown for over 40 years. I call it my ‘home town’ because I love it so much and always bump into my friends there, no matter the time of year.
This is a gem. Makes me long to go back. Went to Ptown for the first time at age 7. Went again at age 14. Third trip I was 20 and the last time (in winter) with my husband and baby daughter. It's the least uptight town I've ever been in... even compared to Tuscany. I love the ambiance, the quaintness, the history, the people, the neatly kept gardens, meandering up Commercial Street, the food, the art, the shops, the bayberry candles... everything. Thank you for creating this. It's perfect.
I had no idea that the Lobster Pot was as old as this. I’ve been going there since the 80s. I wonder who owns it now and if it’s still the best in PTown?
@@mgleather I’m so looking forward to returning soon. I first visited in the late 80s during a blizzard. It was February 19th my birthday. We stayed for a week and ate at the Lobster Pot most evenings. I became a regular until I was diagnosed with cancer. I’m still around after being told I wouldn’t survive 💫
I love the Lobster Pot. Still one of the best for sure! I believe I heard it's up for sale... hopefully it isn't ruined! We'll be visiting there this memorial day weekend
Hello! Where did you find the photo at 0:06? I'd like to get some more information about it and potentially license that image. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Great pictures of Provincetown if it was only like that still it's basically gone down the toilet sorry really not fun being there anymore with all the gay weeks it's a bit much now it's all just foreigners vacationers nobody who really lives on the cave goes there anymore
It’s true, I have lived here since 1989. I stay for the beauty of the cape cod National seashore . The towns people are gone. I’m hanging in by a thread
Gorgeous. One of the most beautiful places in America.
This was wonderful! Beautiful old photos and people. To have been here then! Thank you for this ❤

Wonderful video. Brings back many happy memories. Ptown is America's favorite small town!❤
Love P-Town. Such a beautiful place.
My favorite town on the cape!
Nothing like Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown. One of the few areas that still feel like they did in the 70s and 80s
The "North Truro Provincetown Either Way" picture...was that a postcard? I remember seeing that all around when I was a kid in the late 60s.

The Lobster Pot Restaurant is still there owned by Joy McNulty and Sons .
