Hi! "Best" really varies from person to person. If you have good sound treatment, the Fifine A8 is my top pick right now. If you don't have good sound treatment, the Fifine K688 would be next.

K688 gray foam filter has also plosive issues..... but Because of you already have shure sm7b ..... Could you try to plug Sm7b foam onto k688 ??? Many videos I watched this is the solution

I’ll look into that… As for the SM7b foam, last I checked they were incompatible, but I’ll test again and let you know. Just know that even the default SM7b foam isn’t immune to plosives. The big fat SM7b foam is more resistant to them, but can make audio sound muffly. Great mic technique will go a long way!

@@NatJulianBelza It does come with one, but it's either defective or likely a 2.0 cable. Dark Corner studios and other channels do talk about the defective cable that comes with it. After using a 3.0 cable (from one of my portable hard drives), it began working flawlessly. It's a hassle, but I think the added cost is still worth it to use this mic.

Thanks for the comment! :) It was from the official Fifine store via Lazada. The solution is to buy a USB 3.0 cable, which solves the USB problem. The included cable isn’t good enough. Dark Corner Studios had the same situation when they reviewed the mic, so the store I got it from is not an outlier.

Are there any sound differences when it's plugged as usb microphones and using with an interface? Also, where to cop this k688 in the Philippines, can't find it in any local online stores. 😴
There will absolutely be differences. :) The higher the quality of the preamp in the audio interface, the better the audio. The USB version uses the preamps inside the mic itself. It's kind of like this: a dedicated camera will always have better image quality than a phone, which happens to be a camera. Usb mics have less powerful preamps crammed into them compared to their audio interface counterparts.
The K658 foam does come off from the ring around it. You need to turn it to the left to remove it.

I wouldn't worry about it. :) The K658's sound quality and features would've cost like $240 in the 2010s! Still a great value mic for the price.
