For everyone wondering: 1. Baking Temp 350 2. Bake for 45-50. Do the tooothpick test and some small bits should stick to the toothpick so it isn’t overdone. 3. Let the milk mixture cool before adding the eggs.
For real let mixture cooler before adding eggs I wish the video said that, mine has chunks of cooked egg in it bc I was dumb and followed the video blindly and forgot basic cooking techniques lol. Also adding flour to the cold vanilla sauce doesn’t work I had to use a strainer to remove it? The video makes it seem like you add the sauce after you make it so if I messed up who knows!
This happened to me too but i did let it cool down first before putting the eggs in and they still cooked in the oven.. might do without eggs next time ?
Because of this video, I made this tonight but made it keto - homemade keto bread pre-toasted in the oven for 20 minutes to get crispy, used half coconut cream and half heavy whipping cream, some butter, golden allulose with monk fruit, some liquid vanilla stevia, lightly sprinkled cinnamon and 3 eggs. W.O.W. This was outstanding!
Vegetarians generally eat eggs & dairy but vegans don't Not to mention that anyone who has chosen to cut eggs out of their diet would definitely already know what they can replace the eggs with.
I watched several times but don't see how much bread to include. Anybody see the amount of bread cubes? It would be nice to have an oven temperature and baking time too. I'm holding my thumbs up LIKE until I can get that; otherwise, this recipe is incomplete and unusable.
Some recipes do not call to butter the brioche or add raisins etc. There are so many different recipes to choose from depending on your taste. This was baked at 350 for 40-50 minutes.
@@SweeterLayers hey I'm really sorry about my original comment, i just realised how rude i sounded and thank you for the commenting about the time and temperature 😊
Can I make this with leftover dense dinner rolls? or will it soak up too much custard and come out too dry? The rolls either didn’t proof, had bad yeast, or was overkneaded idfk.
@@SweeterLayers I was so excited to but when I got home, I learned that they were disposed of. Needless to say, I was devastated. I hate waste! I’ve also never had bread pudding and love to bake. It was tragic.

@@SweeterLayers what about the vanilla sauce ??
Yes what about the vanilla sauce. Do we cook it and then when do we pour it on top?
Why scalding if it’s going to bake anyway? Just whisk and pour over?

Bread pudding, the most, delicious, dessert, ever.😋
Thank you 😋
I added cinnamon. I’m out of raisins, but it would be a nice add in. I’m making a drizzle out of butter, brown sugar and butterscotch Schnapps.
Sounds amazing! Would love to see how it turns out 💖
I made this right away.
Verdict: DELICIOUS ❤. The best bread pudding ever.

😋Delicious
Thank you 😊
ASMR
Add raisins and cinnamon. Bake at F 350 for 45 minutes.
It tastes great as is. Raisins & cinnamon probably taste delicious but plain is a great option!
Raisins ?? Ewww
raisins? your kidding right
all these raisin haters are missing out
My dad used to add a bit of cinnamon and rum with his raisins
I liked it but without the raisins
Made bread pudding tons not necessary to heat milk just make sure sugar is all mixed in properly then add cinnamon and bake ❤
Thanks for the tip!
I'm makin this tonight so hopefully its good cause i never made it or tried it lol.
Thankyou this was yummy ❤
My pleasure 😊
Bread
2tbs butter
